Philharmonia/ Rouvali review – Fazil Say's concerto sounds an urgent wakeup call

🌎️ I was totally blown away by Fazil Say's "Mother Earth" piano concerto, I mean, who knew music could be so powerful? 🤯 It's crazy how he used all those weird instruments to make this epic picture of our planet's beauty and destruction. 🌴🌪️ The way the pianist played was like nothing I've ever seen before, his energy was infectious! 😊 But what really stuck with me is that it feels so relevant to what's going on in the world right now. We need more artists speaking out about climate change, and Say's music is a huge step in the right direction 🌟💚

I gotta say, Fazil Say's piano concerto "Mother Earth" was pure fire 🔥🌎! The way he incorporated all these weird and wonderful instruments into the performance was genius 🤯. I loved how it transported us to different parts of the world, from seismic storms to tropical forests 🌴🌊. And that zither-like passage? Mind-blowing 😮! Meanwhile, Dvořák's Eighth Symphony was a nice palate cleanser 🍰, but let's be real, "Mother Earth" was the one that really left an impact 💥. Can't wait to see what Fazil Say comes up with next 🎵💖 #FazilSay #ClimateAction #MusicForChange

omg i just heard about this philharmonia concert and i'm so down to learn more about jean sibelius 🤔 but what's with all these composers, can someone explain it like im 5? 🎶 is it like a big party where everyone plays instruments? and btw what's the deal with clima change? my friend's family just got hit by a hurricane last year 🌪️ does this say earth concert help people or what?

THE MUSIC WAS REALLY GOOD TONIGHT!!! 🎵 I LOVED THE WAY FAZIL SAY'S CONCERTO MADE YOU FEEL LIKE YOU'RE WALKING THROUGH A THUNDERSTORM OR STANDING IN THE HEART OF AN RAINFOREST 🌳🌴 IT WAS SO VIVID AND INTENSE! I ALSO REALLY ENJOYED THE PHILHARMONIA'S CHOICE OF MUSIC FOR THIS EVENT, IT SHOWED THAT THEY WERE SERIOUS ABOUT MAKING A STATEMENT ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE 💚
