I'm already imagining what kind of amazing designs I'd submit if I were a contestant... and honestly, I think Philly would look STUNNING on the poster. 
Whatever design comes out of this contest, I just know it's gonna be EPIC. Bring it on, artists! 
It feels like they're trying to control everything down to the last pixel. And don't even get me started on the phrase "Philadelphia" having to be included... couldn't they just let people come up with their own designs? It's all a bit too formulaic for my taste

! We need some fresh design that captures the essence of America's favorite city, ya know? Like a collage of iconic landmarks, famous quotes from Philly-born legends (Ben Franklin anyone?

. Like, can't we just support artists through their work without all these competitions? But I guess it's flattering that Philly officials want to involve the public in this project... not. And $5,000 for a poster is pretty meh – what a tiny sum considering the production costs, not to mention the designers' time. Plus, "positive and inspiring" sounds super vague 
like a giant liberty bell or Independence Hall. And the fact that it's open to anyone who wants to participate is amazing! I'm definitely gonna keep an eye on this and maybe even try to submit my own design
