Pope Leo XIV’s first full-length U.S. book, ‘Peace Be With You,’ to be released in February

Pope Leo XIV Set to Share Vision for World Peace with U.S. Readers Next February

The Catholic Church is making a big move in the publishing world as it announces its first full-length book by Pope Leo XIV, set to hit American shelves next February. The title, "Peace Be With You! My Words to the Church and to the World," promises a message of unity, reconciliation, and peace in today's fractured global landscape.

According to HarperOne, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers, the book will include sermons and addresses given by Pope Leo XIV since his election last May. The publisher describes it as "a vision for peace" that readers will find inspiring.

At its core, the title is based on Pope Leo's first public remarks as pope when he appeared at St. Peter's Basilica in May. His message of peace and unity was simple yet powerful: "I would like this greeting of peace to resound in your hearts, in your families, among all people, wherever they may be, in every nation and throughout the world," Pope Leo XIV said. "Peace be with you!"

For readers familiar with works by previous popes John Paul II and Francis, this marks another milestone for Pope Leo XIV in sharing his message of peace and unity with a wider audience through publishing.

I'm so stoked to hear that Pope Leo XIV is dropping his new book next February 🤩. As someone who's been following the Church's efforts on world peace, I think it's awesome that he's taking the time to share his vision with us. The title sounds really inspiring and I love how it's based on his first public remarks as pope - simple yet powerful, just like him 😊. Can't wait to dive in and read what he has to say about unity, reconciliation, and peace! 💡

Ugh, can't believe they're making a big deal out of the Pope's book 🙄. Like, we already know he's gonna say some stuff about peace and love, it's not like it's going to be a groundbreaking revelation or anything 😴. And what's with the title? "Peace Be With You" is literally just a phrase from his first speech as pope... not exactly original 🙃. And who gets to decide which sermons to include in the book? The publisher, of course, because they clearly have the Pope's best interests at heart 🤑. Can't wait for February though... maybe it'll be a page-turner 😴📚

OMG 🤯 I'm super excited to hear that the new pope is writing a book about peace! It's like, exactly what we need right now 🌎💖 His first speech was so inspiring - who wouldn't want some real peace and unity? I mean, it's not like the world has enough problems already 😳. But hey, maybe his words will be the push we all need to come together as one big happy family 👪🌈. Fingers crossed that this book will make a difference! 🤞

I feel like I just got a break from exams... I mean, world peace is great and all but can't we focus on getting our school's budget increased instead? Like, the Pope's book is gonna be out next Feb 🤔... maybe he could write about what to do when you're stuck in a math test forever 😂. Seriously though, it'll be cool to see more messages like that from leaders promoting unity and peace 🌎. I just wish our school had more support staff for students with special needs 🤗.

I'm not sure about this one... I mean, it's nice that the Pope wants to share his vision for world peace, but have you seen the state of our world lately? 🤔 It feels like we're already in too deep. And isn't it weird that he's only sharing his thoughts now, when we really need them most? Like, what took him so long? 😒 My grandpa used to say that if someone wants to make a change, they should start by making one small step at a time... I'm not saying the Pope can't do that, but it feels like he's putting all his eggs in one basket. Still, I guess it's better than nothing, and maybe his message will resonate with people? 🤷‍♂️ I just hope we're not too far gone already...

I'm not sure if I'd get too excited about the Pope's book just yet... I mean don't get me wrong, it sounds like a nice message of peace & all, but has he actually done anything concrete on that front since becoming pope? 🤔 Still, I guess it's great for him to share his thoughts & ideas with the world. And who knows, maybe it'll inspire some change! 🙏

🤯 I'm so down for a book that promises to share a vision for world peace! 🌎 It's about time someone speaks up on the global state we're in right now. Pope Leo XIV is definitely doing the Church proud by sharing his words with us. I love how simple yet powerful his message of peace and unity is - who doesn't want more of that in their lives? 😊 The fact that he's drawing from his sermons and addresses since becoming pope makes me think this book will be really insightful. Can't wait to dive into it next February! 📚💕
