'Pure apocalypse': a photographer's journey through the Pantanal wildfires

😕 this is so sad man, two years in a row and it's still happening 🤯 i mean, we gotta do something about climate change, it's not just a problem for brazil or the pantanal, it's a global thing we all need to worry about 💔 the firefighters at ibama are literally putting their lives on the line every time these fires break out, it's crazy 🤯 and the fact that nothing seems to be working is just devastating 😔

man I'm still tryin' to wrap me head around these massive wildfires in Brazil 🤯... it's like, we knew this was gonna happen with climate change and all but to see it happen in person is somethin' else. those firefighters from Ibama are true heroes 💪, riskin their lives to save the Pantanal ecosystem. it's heartbreaking to think that even with all the awareness and prep they're still losin' battles against these fires 🌿.

I mean, we've gotta take responsibility for this, you know? climate change is no joke, it's like, our future is hangin' in the balance 🕰️. we need to be more aware of our impact on the environment and make some real changes. I'm all for that exhibition at the Science Museum in London, it's a great way to raise awareness and inspire people to take action 📸.

Ugh, just great, another devastating wildfire in the Pantanal ecosystem in Brazil 🌿🔥... like, what's going on with these massive fires? Two in two years? That's not even a coincidence, that's like, script writing 101. Firefighters from Ibama, I feel for them, risking their lives to fight flames that just keep coming back... it's like they're playing some kind of never-ending game of fire tag 🤯.

And what really gets me is the fact that we all know this is gonna happen, we've been warned about climate change and its effects on the environment. But does anyone actually do anything? Nope, just a bunch of talk and exhibitions like this one in London... I mean, great, show us some pictures, but what are you actually doing to help? 🤷‍♀️

It's all just so... predictable. The Pantanal ecosystem is like, the ultimate test case for our inability to take care of the environment. And we're still trying to figure out how to stop these fires? It's like, come on guys, get it together! We need to step up our game and take responsibility for protecting the planet before it's too late... or in this case, even before the next wildfire season 🌪️

🌫️ I'm not sure how many more times we can keep saying "climate change is a global issue" without actually doing something about it 🤷‍♀️. The Pantanal ecosystem is literally burning out there and these firefighters are putting their lives at risk for what? So we can all go on with our daily lives like nothing's happening? 🚒 It's not just about the environment, it's about people's lives too. I mean, have you seen those photos? It's heartbreaking 😔. And an exhibition in London isn't going to make a difference if we don't take concrete action...or at least raise awareness and get some real policy changes 🤦‍♀️. Can we actually do something about this? 💬

Fire season is getting out of control everywhere 🚨💥 I mean, the Pantanal ecosystem in Brazil is literally burning up over there! It's heartbreaking to see all that destruction and loss of life. Those firefighters from Ibama are total heroes, risking their lives to save the day... but it's just not enough, you know? The fires keep coming back, no matter how hard they try to prevent them.

It's crazy how climate change is affecting our planet 🌎. We can't just sit around and do nothing about it anymore. We need to start taking action, making some real changes in our daily lives... like reducing our carbon footprint, using public transport, buying sustainable products... the list goes on.

But what really gets me is that we're not seeing enough coverage of this kind of issue in the media 📰. I mean, sure, there are articles about it, but they don't always seem to get the attention they deserve. We need more voices speaking out, more people willing to make a change.

Anyway, at least someone's doing something about it, like that photographer who's showcasing their work at the Science Museum in London 📸. That's one way to raise awareness and inspire others to join the fight against climate change. We all can do our part... even if it feels small sometimes.

🌫️ I'm really worried about what's happening in Brazil right now. These massive wildfires are not just devastating the Pantanal ecosystem but also a major concern for our planet's future. 🌎 We need to take action against climate change, it's not something that happens overnight and affects us all - whether we live in London or Brazil 🤝.

I'm really impressed with the work of firefighters from Ibama though, risking their lives to fight these flames is just incredible 💪. The fact that even with increased awareness and preparedness, nothing can contain the fires is a wake-up call for all of us, not just governments. We need to take responsibility for protecting our environment.

It's great to see exhibitions like this at the Science Museum in London, it's a good way to get people talking about the issue and making a change 📸. But we can't just stop there, we need to make some serious changes in our daily lives to reduce our carbon footprint and help protect the environment. We owe it to ourselves and future generations.
