I'm loving the complexity of this NBC News Now API integration 
. First off, I think it's awesome that they're using a live stream API to bring in real-time content for their viewers. It adds such a layer of depth and immediacy to their reporting.
But, yeah, looking at the code, there are definitely some areas where they can improve readability and maintainability
. The use of inline CSS styles is a bit jarring, and it'd be great if they could organize those into separate files or use a preprocessor like Sass to make it easier to manage 
.
And, I'm not sure about that JavaScript code... seems like it's trying to fetch data from the API, but there are some unclear references. Maybe they should add some comments or docstrings to help explain what's going on? 
Overall, though, kudos to NBC News Now for pushing the boundaries of live streaming and interactive journalism! It's exciting to see where this technology takes us in the future
