Rapper Fetty Wap released early from federal prison

Fetty Wap's Time Behind Bars Comes to an End: Rapper Released Early from Federal Prison

After nearly three years of serving time in federal prison, rapper Fetty Wap has been released early, according to the US Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP). The "Trap Queen" singer was initially sentenced by a New York court to six years in prison and five years of post-release supervision in May 2023. However, he was transferred from the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Sandstone to community confinement in Philadelphia on January 7, 2026.

Under home confinement, Fetty Wap is now expected to serve out his remaining time under supervision until November 8 this year. The rapper's release comes after a tumultuous period, marked by allegations of violating the terms of his bond and pleading guilty to conspiracy charges related to cocaine distribution.

Despite facing serious charges, Fetty Wap has expressed gratitude towards his family, friends, and fans for their ongoing support. In a statement, he highlighted his commitment to giving back through community initiatives and his foundation, which aims to provide education and vision care to at-risk young children. His publicist described him as "in good spirits" and in a focused state, with priorities on family, fatherhood, music, and serving his community.

Fetty Wap's case serves as a reminder of the complexities involved in federal sentencing and the varying paths that inmates can take when released from prison. With his release now imminent, fans will be eagerly awaiting news of his future endeavors and how he plans to use his platform for positive change.

omg i'm so relieved fetty wap is finally free 🙌💖 it's amazing to see him taking this time to focus on what truly matters - family, music, and giving back to the community 🎶👪 he's got a lot of love from his fans and it's awesome to see him using that love to make a positive impact 💕 my heart goes out to him and his fam during this tumultuous time, but it sounds like they're all doing great 👍

Man... Fetty Wap's case is like a real-life example of America's broken justice system 🤔. I mean, six years in the slammer for cocaine distribution? That's some harsh sentencing, you know? And now he's getting released early and expected to serve out his remaining time under supervision? It just raises so many questions about how the system works... or doesn't work, depending on who you ask 😂. I think it's safe to say that this whole ordeal has been a real rollercoaster ride for Fetty Wap and his family, and we can only hope that he finds success and redemption in the music industry once again 🎤. But at the same time, we gotta wonder what kind of message is being sent when someone gets outta prison with a relatively short sentence compared to some of the other inmates who are serving longer sentences... I mean, does it really help to rehabilitate people or just give them a slap on the wrist? 🤷‍♂️

omg did u know that octopuses are like the ultimate escape artists? i mean, they can just dissolve their own suckers to break free from a tank! 🤯 anyway, back to fetty wap... i feel bad for him cuz he's been through so much but at least he's using his platform for good now. has anyone heard his new music tho? 🎶

just heard that Fetty Wap is outta jail 😅 his case is wild tho - 3 years in federal prison and then released early? that's some crazy stuff 🤯 i'm curious to see what he does next, gonna start making music again or focus on his community initiatives? his foundation sounds pretty cool 💼👍

Wow 🤯 Fetty Wap's story is so inspiring! He went through a lot, but it's awesome that he's focusing on giving back to the community with his foundation. His fans are totally stoked to see him coming out stronger and more focused on doing good things 💪

omg what a rollercoaster Fetty Wap's been on 🤯 I remember when he first got sentenced back in 2023 and was like "what just happened?" 😱 then there were all these allegations and then the whole conspiracy thing... it's crazy how fast things can change in prison life, you know? 🕰️ anyway, happy for him that he's getting out early, I guess. but also kinda sad that he's gotta deal with some serious scrutiny now that he is back in the public eye 👀

.. Fetty Wap's back out 🙌... Can't believe it's been three years in the slammer already... That dude was always on top of his game, now he's gotta get his life back together 🤝. I mean, six years is a long time to be away from the music scene... I wonder what kind of music he's gonna make now that he's free? Hopefully it'll be better than that 'Trap Queen' song 😂... All in all, glad he's getting out and serving his community, that's real talk 👍.
