Red Dead Redemption is coming on December 4 to mobile for Netflix subscribers

Netflix Subscribers to Get Free Mobile Access to Classic Red Dead Redemption on December 4

In a surprise move, Rockstar Games is set to bring its iconic western open-world game 'Red Dead Redemption' to mobile devices exclusively for Netflix subscribers. The highly-anticipated release is expected to hit iOS and Android devices on December 4, allowing users to enjoy the critically-acclaimed experience on-the-go.

According to prolific news source Wario64, who uncovered the information, the game will be free-to-play, making it accessible to a wider audience. Interestingly, the mobile version of 'Red Dead Redemption' will include the popular zombie-centric DLC 'Undead Nightmare'.

Meanwhile, an ESRB website has revealed release dates for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Switch 2, confirming that the game is indeed heading to current-gen platforms on December 2. The news comes as a welcome update, as the original 'Red Dead Redemption' from 2010 was previously only available on previous-generation consoles like the PS4.

It's worth noting that this is not the sequel to 'Red Dead Redemption', but rather the original game that started it all. Despite not quite reaching the heights of its successor 'Red Dead Redemption 2', the classic title remains a great gaming experience in its own right.

This marks the second major team-up between Netflix and Rockstar Games, following the release of 'Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy โ€“ The Definitive Edition' on Android and iOS for Netflix subscribers last year. With the upcoming release of 'Red Dead Redemption', it's clear that these two gaming giants are committed to bringing their iconic titles to a wider audience through unique partnerships like this one.

omg yaaas ๐Ÿคฉ finally, someone's gonna make me play RDR on my phone lol i mean its about time they bring the classic game out for mobile devices, its been too long since i last played it ๐Ÿ’ป๐Ÿ‘ now if they can get the graphics to match the console version id be golden ๐Ÿ˜Ž and btw who needs zombies in rdr? i loved the original storyline so much more ๐Ÿคช anyways, cant wait to see how the mobile version turns out ๐Ÿ“ฑ๐Ÿ’ฅ

I'm hyped about this news, but I gotta say, it's still weird that they're releasing an old game on Netflix for mobile ๐Ÿค”. Like, isn't that just re-releasing something we already own? It's all good though, 'cause free is free, right? ๐Ÿ˜Š And, I mean, who doesn't want to play Red Dead Redemption on-the-go? But, it's kinda interesting that they're including the Undead Nightmare DLC โ€“ that was a wild ride ๐ŸŽฎ. Still, I'm not sure how well this will hold up on mobile, but hey, at least it's another way for us to experience Rockstar's classics.

aww man, can you even imagine playing Red Dead Redemption on-the-go? I think this is such an awesome move by Rockstar Games and Netflix! I mean, the original game was already so good, but now it's gonna be free-to-play? That's just amazing ๐Ÿคฏ๐ŸŽฎ. And including Undead Nightmare DLC? Genius move! ๐Ÿ˜„ I'm a bit surprised it's not coming to other platforms too, but I guess it makes sense that they're targeting mobile first. Still super excited for this release and can't wait to play it on my commute ๐Ÿ’จ.

man, can you believe they're making Red Dead Redemption available on mobile ๐Ÿคฏ! I mean, it's not the same as playing it on PC or console, but for some reason I think it's kinda cool that people who didn't experience the original game back in 2010 are gonna get a chance to play it now. the fact that it's free-to-play is awesome too - more people should be able to enjoy that game without having to break the bank ๐Ÿ’ธ. and the inclusion of Undead Nightmare DLC is a nice touch ๐Ÿ‘. but you know what would take this deal from awesome to legendary? if they made an Android/ios exclusive Red Dead Redemption 2: The Lost Update ๐Ÿค”

๐Ÿค  just think about it, classic red dead redemption is coming to mobile and its free... that's awesome news for old folks like me who can't keep up with the latest consoles anymore ๐Ÿ˜‚. i remember playing the original back in 2010 on my ps3 and it was an incredible experience. bringing this game to the masses on a device thats almost everyone carries around is genius. plus, getting the undead nightmare dlc is a nice touch ๐ŸŽฎ. its also interesting to see netflix and rockstar teaming up again... they should do more of these kinds of deals, it would be great for gamers who want to play their favorite games on-the-go ๐Ÿ’ป.

omg yaaas ๐Ÿคฉ, this is gonna be lit on my commute ๐Ÿš‚๐Ÿ’จ! having red dead redemption on mobile for free is like, the ultimate netflix perk ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ‘ i mean who doesn't want to ride horses and shoot bandits on the go? ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿด it's crazy that they're making this classic game available again, especially since it was only on last gen consoles before. rockstar games and netflix are like, totally changing the game ๐Ÿคฏ with these exclusive releases, can't wait to get my hands on it! ๐Ÿ‘

I gotta say, it's kinda weird that they're making Red Dead Redemption mobile-only for Netflix subs ๐Ÿค”. I mean, isn't the game supposed to be all about immersion and open-world exploration? Won't it get ruined on some tiny screen with auto-rotate or whatever? Plus, what's up with the Undead Nightmare DLC being included? That's like a whole separate experience, dude ๐Ÿ˜‚. And don't even get me started on how they're gonna handle controls โ€“ I hope they at least give us decent analog sticks ๐Ÿคž. Anyway, at least it's free-to-play, so that's a bonus ๐Ÿ‘.

๐Ÿคฏ just saw this news about Red Dead Redemption coming to Netflix mobile ๐Ÿ“ฑ on Dec 4! ๐ŸŽฎ that's some crazy game-changing tech right there, considering the original came out in 2010! ๐Ÿ˜ฒ did you know Netflix already partnered with Rockstar for GTA: The Trilogy last year? ๐Ÿค they're really making gaming accessible to more people now... ๐Ÿ“Š according to reports, there are currently over 230 million Netflix subscribers worldwide, which is a huge user base to tap into for game devs like Rockstar! ๐Ÿ’ธ the ESRB confirms it'll be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S & Switch 2 too - pretty sweet move from Netflix, if you ask me ๐Ÿ˜Ž

This partnership between Netflix and Rockstar Games is really interesting... I mean, think about it - we're living in an era where entertainment knows no bounds ๐Ÿ“บ. We can access some of the most incredible stories and experiences from the comfort of our own homes, on-the-go, with just a few taps on our screens. And now, they're making one of the most iconic open-world games, Red Dead Redemption, available to millions more people ๐Ÿค . It's almost as if we're carrying a piece of gaming history with us wherever we go... but at the same time, is this freedom to access something truly liberating or just another distraction from the world around us? I'm not sure, but it's definitely got me thinking ๐Ÿ’ญ.

OMG, can you even believe it?! ๐Ÿคฏ A free mobile version of Red Dead Redemption on Netflix is literally going to change the game! ๐Ÿ’ฅ I mean, who wouldn't want to play as John Marston on-the-go? ๐Ÿ˜Ž And the fact that it's going to include Undead Nightmare DLC is just a bonus! ๐Ÿ’€ It's so cool that Rockstar and Netflix are teaming up again, bringing their amazing games to more people. We're lucky to have these gaming giants supporting each other like this ๐Ÿค. I'm super hyped for the release on Dec 4th - mark your calendars! โฐ

๐Ÿคฏ I'm so stoked about this! A free mobile version of Red Dead Redemption on Netflix is just what we need to spice up our daily commutes ๐Ÿš‚๐Ÿ’ป. I mean, who wouldn't want to play an open-world western classic on their phone while waiting for the train? ๐Ÿšซ It's like having a mini gaming session whenever you want! ๐Ÿ‘ And yay for Undead Nightmare DLC - that zombie apocalypse is still so much fun ๐Ÿ˜. Can you imagine playing this on your commute and getting to work feeling like a real cowboy or cowgirl? ๐Ÿ”ฅ I'm super hyped for the release on Dec 4, and I hope it's as smooth of an experience as the original game was ๐ŸŽฎ๐Ÿ’ช
