Red Sox have reportedly ‘drawn back’ pursuit of Twins pitcher Joe Ryan

I mean, I think it's a good thing for the Twins to focus on stability... 🤔 But at the same time, don't they want to win a championship? I guess what I'm saying is, if they're not gonna trade Ryan, maybe they should just try harder to keep him happy 🙅‍♂️. Boston's probably just looking for a good deal, like they always do... 😏 But it's weird that they'd "draw back" on their pursuit of him after making him the primary target 🤷‍♂️. Maybe they're just playing hard to get? 🎉 Or maybe I'm just overthinking this whole thing... 🤯

So I think the Red Sox are being a bit super cautious here 🤔. On one hand, they just added some solid pitchers like Sonny Gray and Johan Oviedo, so maybe they're thinking that's enough to shore up their rotation? But at the same time, Ryan is a top-tier pitcher who could make a huge difference for them... I mean, he was their No. 1 target after all 🤷‍♂️. If Boston doesn't think it's worth the risk of giving up some valuable assets, then maybe they should be looking elsewhere? There are other talented pitchers out there, like Cole Ragans from Kansas City... who knows, maybe that's where their next big catch is 🔮

I'M NOT SURPRISED THEY CHANGED THEIR MIND ABOUT JOE RYAN THOUGH 🤔. I THINK THE TWINS WERE ALWAYS GOING TO PLAY IT SAFE WITH HIM, ESPECIALLY SINCE HE'S GOT A NO-TRUBLE CARD IN LOPEZ'S FUTURE ⚾️. AND NOW THAT SONNY GRAY AND JOHAN OVIEDO ARE ALREADY ON BOARD, WHY FIX WHAT Ain't BROKEN? 🤷‍♂️ THE RED SOX CAN JUST KEEP BUILDING AROUND THOSE TWO GUYS AND SEE HOW IT ALL PANS OUT IN THE END 📊.

OMG, this news is crazy! 🤯 I was low-key rooting for the Sox to land Joe Ryan, but it sounds like they're having second thoughts. I mean, with Sonny Gray and Johan Oviedo already on board, why not focus on making the most of what they've got? 🙄 The Twins' approach makes sense though - stability is key when you've got core players like Ryan and Lopez! 💪 Still, it's hard not to wonder who'll be the next target for the Sox... maybe Cole Ragans from KC? 🤔 #RedSoxNation #MLBTradeDeadline #RyanVsRagans

I feel like the Red Sox were always overestimating how much of a difference Joe Ryan would make in their rotation 🤔👀. They needed a solid No 2 but I think they got lost in all the hype about him being paired with Crochet... meanwhile Sonny Gray and Johan Oviedo are pretty underrated acquisitions 💪🔥

The Twins seem to be doing things right, though - prioritizing stability over a short-term fix 🙏💯. Filling holes around their core guys Ryan and Lopez is key, and it's great that they're focusing on the bigger picture.

Boston might need to adjust their thinking about what they really want in a trade... Cole Ragans could be an interesting alternative if they stick with the Crochet plan 😊👍
