Report: Eagles interviewing Zac Robinson for open offensive coordinator job

Atlanta Falcons' Offense Struggles to Find Rhythm Under Zac Robinson, Now Pursuing Eagles OC Job

The Atlanta Falcons' search for a new offensive coordinator is heating up with the news that incumbent coach Zac Robinson is set to interview with the Philadelphia Eagles. According to reports, Robinson will be joining the list of top candidates vying for the vacant position, which has been a point of contention for the team.

A review of Robinson's coaching resume reveals a strong background in quarterback development and game planning. His experience as assistant quarterbacks coach and pass game coordinator/quarterbacks coach with the Los Angeles Rams is particularly noteworthy. While his stint with the Falcons has seen some positive trends, including improved passing yards per game and a significant decrease in giveaways.

However, despite these efforts, the Falcons' offense still grapples with inconsistency, particularly behind quarterback Michael Penix. The team's performance in 2025, which saw them struggle to find rhythm on offense, is a telling indication of the need for a fresh perspective.

Eagles coach Nick Sirianni has emphasized that his search for a new OC will be wide-ranging, and Robinson's interview with the team marks an interesting development. Notably, he has also spoken to other contenders in the position, including the Buccaneers and Lions.

With the Falcons' offense still seeking answers, Robinson's involvement in the Eagles' coaching search is an intriguing one. The question remains: can he bring the necessary spark to propel the team forward?

I think Zac Robinson's background in QB development & game planning would be a huge asset for the Eagles, but at the same time, I'm not sure if the Falcons are ready to let him go just yet 🤔. They've seen some positive trends with him at the helm, and it'd be a shame to lose his expertise. On the other hand, the Eagles could use a fresh perspective on offense, especially after Sirianni's departure...this interview could be a game-changer 💡

Wow 🤯 the falcons are really struggling with their offense and now robinson is like a wild card lol 😂 interesting that they're considering him to be the new OC, fingers crossed it's not just a temporary fix 🤞

I'm kinda surprised they're bringing in another coach so soon 🤔. I mean, Zac Robinson did do some good things with the Falcons' offense, but it's still struggling like crazy. Like, what's going on behind Penix? You'd think they'd have a solid game plan by now. Does anyone know what kind of questions he'll be asked at his interview with Eagles coach? 🤷‍♂️ I feel like Robinson needs to bring some serious fire to the team if he wants them to get out of that slump 💥

Wow 🤔, I think it's crazy that Zac Robinson is interviewing for the Eagles OC job after the Falcons have been struggling so much on offense 😂. He did some good things with the Rams, but it's not like the Falcons are playing that well either... interesting 🤷‍♂️

omg what's going on with the falcons?! they need a total overhaul of their offense ASAP 🤯 i mean Zac robinson had some good moments but it's not enough, they're still struggling like crazy. and now he's interviewing for the eagles job?? that's just wild! nick sirianni seems to know what he's doing so hopefully he can bring some stability to the falcons' offense 🤞 maybe they should just give robinson a shot and see what happens, but at this point i'm all for trying something new 💡

man this falcons offense needs a major shakeup 🤯 robinson might be the guy but its not just about him its about the whole system and team effort u feel? they need someone who can get the players on the same page and create some consistency. and with all these other teams interviewing for the eagles OC job, it's like they're trying to find that magic formula 🤔

Ugh 🤯 I'm seriously losing faith in the Falcons' front office... Zac Robinson, who was supposed to be the answer to all their problems, is now being scouted by the Eagles 🦅. Like what even is going on here?! They were so hyped about him taking over as OC and suddenly his name is popping up everywhere else 😒. And don't even get me started on how they're still struggling behind Michael Penix... that guy's got all the magic and none of the talent 🤦‍♂️. I'm starting to think they need a total overhaul, not just some fancy new coordinator with a pretty face 💁‍♀️. Can't believe they're throwing away another year, it's so frustrating! 😩

🤔 the falcons are lookin for a spark on offense, but what if they're lookin at the wrong guy? zac robinson's got some solid experience under his belt, don't get me wrong. but sometimes it's not about who you hire, it's about why you hired 'em. is it just about fixin' the surface-level stuff, or are you lookin to overhaul the whole system?

it makes me think about this idea of "good enough" vs "better". the falcons might be settlein' for good enough with robinson at the helm, but what if that's exactly what's holdin' 'em back? they need someone who's gonna shake things up and bring some fresh eyes to the table.

the question is, can robinson be that guy? or is he just another cog in the machine?

I think the Falcons are trying to play it safe with Zac Robinson 🤔... I mean, the guy's got some solid experience under his belt, but at this point, I'm not sure if he's the right fit for this team. They need someone who can shake things up and bring a fresh perspective, you know? And let's be real, Michael Penix is still a work in progress 🤷‍♂️... If Robinson can't even get the offense to find its rhythm, it's gonna be tough for him to make an impact with another team. But hey, you never know what might happen when he meets with Nick Sirianni 😏... Maybe he'll bring some magic to Philly and leave Atlanta in the dust 💥
