RFU: Bill Sweeney positive about accounts despite loss of nearly £2m

I think it's cool that rugby is making a lot of money from broadcasting deals 📺, but at the same time they're losing cash on running the sport. It's like trying to balance a big budget with a tight one 🤑. They need to figure out how to cut costs without scaring off fans or players. I'm curious to see what their plan is to make rugby more attractive to new fans 👀.

🤔 Rugby's future is looking pretty bright, despite the financial loss 📉. I think the key to their success lies in finding ways to increase revenue while keeping costs under control 💸. The rise in broadcasting income is definitely a positive trend, but they need to keep innovating to stay ahead of other sports 🏈. It's also great to see Sweeney acknowledging the hard work of RFU staff and volunteers – they're the backbone of the sport after all 👍. But, as he said, there's still much work to be done... let's hope rugby can find a way to balance its ambition with financial responsibility 🤞
