Sadiq Khan recalls past abuse as he urges Nigel Farage to apologise over racism claims

🤕 I feel so bad for Sadiq Khan going through this at such a young age. Racism is a serious issue that can follow you throughout your life & affect every aspect of your relationships. It's not just about being called a certain word, it's about how those words make you feel & the impact they have on your daily life. 🤝

I'm not surprised that Farage's response has been deemed insincere, if he's really denying making racist comments, why hasn't he apologized? Accountability is key here, we need to hold people in power accountable for their actions. 🔥

It's great to see Peter Ettedgui coming forward with his story, it takes a lot of courage to share something like that. 🙌 We need more stories like this to help raise awareness about racism & its impact on individuals.

I'm also concerned about the government seizing on these allegations & Farage trying to shift the blame onto Khan. It's not politics, it's people's lives being affected by racist behavior. We need to take a stand against racism in all forms, no matter what party someone is affiliated with. 💪

I gotta say, Nigel Farage is not going down without a fight 😒. He's still denying everything and trying to shift the blame. I mean, why would he just apologize for something he didn't do? That wouldn't be very "Farage-like", right? 🤔 It's like he thinks he's above all this or something. Newsflash, mate: you can't just sweep racism under the rug and expect everyone to forget about it. We need people like Sadiq Khan coming forward to share their experiences and hold others accountable for their actions. And by the way, who cares if the government is "seizing" on these allegations? That's just a weak attempt to discredit the victims. Let's focus on listening to their stories and taking action against racism 🙏.

🤔 You know I was reading about this whole Brexit thing and how Nigel Farage is all bent outta shape 'cause some kids from school are talking trash about him 🤦‍♂️... Mayor Sadiq Khan's story kinda hits home, y'know? Growing up in the 70s and 80s, he faced racism firsthand - it's not just a thing you hear about on TV or online, it's real life. And what really gets me is that Farage's denying all these allegations, but his responses feel super insincere 🤷‍♂️. It's like, if you're gonna deny something, own up to it and apologize, don't just try to brush it off 💁‍♂️. I mean, we've got a whole generation of young people who are being taught that racism is bad news, but if the big guys aren't setting an example, how are they supposed to know? 🤔

omg i just got a new phone 📱 and i'm still trying to figure out how to use snapchat 🤔 like what's the point of stories anyway? but back to this news... racism is so messed up, you know? 😩 i feel bad for mayor khan and all those people who have been targeted by racist abuse. it's like, why can't we just get along? and sadiq khan is totally right that we need to hold people accountable for their actions, especially when they're hurtful or mean-spirited. 🤷‍♀️ and ugh, nigel farage is being super insensitive and not owning up to his mistakes at all... 🙄

I CANT BELIEVE WHAT'S GOING ON HERE!!! IT'S LIKE FARAGE THINKS HE CAN JUST DENY ALL THESE ALLEGATIONS AND EXPECT EVERYTHING TO BE OKAY?! NEWS FLASH, MATE: JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE A PUBLIC FIGURE DOESNT MEAN YOU CAN GET AWAY WITH MAKING RACIST COMMENTS WITHOUT ANY CONSEQUENCES!!! KHAAN IS RIGHT ON THE MONEY HERE, WE NEED TO CALL OUT PEOPLE LIKE FARAGE FOR THEIR BEHAVIOR AND HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE FOR IT!!!
