Seeing Is Believing at Your Own Peril in 'After God'

I just finished reading 'After God' 😱 and I'm still reeling from the experience! The way Sumi Eno weaves together the complexities of polytheism with Waka's journey as she navigates this dark world is just masterful 🤯. The artwork is stunning, but what really gets me is how Eno balances the darker themes with moments of humor and pathos - it's like a rollercoaster ride of emotions! 🎠 I love how the series raises more questions than answers, leaving you questioning everything. And Waka as a protagonist? She's so flawed and relatable 💖. If you're looking for a manga that'll keep you hooked and leave you thinking long after you finish it, 'After God' is a must-read 📚💫

I'm so down for this new manga release "After God" by Sumi Eno... the concept of gods being a double-edged sword is super intriguing 🤯. I love how it explores polytheism in modern society, all these factions and moral gray areas are like, whoa 😲. The artwork sounds insane, I need to see Waka's journey come to life on paper 📸. It's not for everyone, though - the themes of trauma and danger zones might be too intense for some... but if you're up for a wild ride with complex characters and visuals, then yes please! 👍

OMG, this 'After God' series sounds SO interesting 🤔 I mean, having gods that can transform you into water just by seeing them? That's like, totally mind-blowing 😲 And the fact that there are these factions emerging in human society... like, which side is right and which side is wrong? 🤷‍♀️ It makes me wonder if we'd be able to make any moral decisions with gods around.

And I love how the protagonist Waka has this inner conflict - she's got god eyes but a regular person heart 💖 What's her deal, anyway? How did that happen and what does it mean for her journey?

I'm also curious about the artwork... do the dark fantasy creatures look super creepy or is there something beautiful about them too? 🎨 Do they add to the overall atmosphere of distrust?

Overall, I think this series sounds like a wild ride with lots of twists and turns 🌪️ Can't wait to dive in and find out!
