Senate advances war powers resolution to stop Trump from taking further military action in Venezuela

It's about time! I mean, come on, no one likes an impulsive prez who thinks he can just go rogue on a country without consulting anyone else 🤷‍♂️. The fact that 10 Republicans voted against Trump is huge - it shows some people are still keeping their cool and thinking critically about the situation.

I'm not surprised the resolution passed, though. Most people realize war should only be an option when all other options have been exhausted 💡. And let's be real, Trump's actions in Venezuela seem pretty reckless 🚫. I hope this new resolution actually gets signed into law and prevents any more unnecessary conflict. It's about time our country starts prioritizing diplomacy over military might 🌎

omg I'm literally shook by this news! like what even is going on with trump right now? 🤯 i can feel the stress and tension building up from both sides... senate voting to limit his military action in venezuela is def a huge step towards congress taking back control, but at the same time, trumps reaction is super concerning 🚨. as a student, it's crazy to think about how this affects global politics and national security 🌎💸. i hope the resolution makes it through the house reps and gets signed by trump... fingers crossed! 👏

omg u no wot?! its about 2 time 4 america 2 b more careful wen it comes 2 military action abroad 🤦‍♂️. trump is all like "i can do whatever i want" but newsflash dude: congress is supposed 2 b in charge 2! 🚫 10 republicans actually had the guts 2 disagree w/ him which is kinda awesome 👏. its time 4 them 2 stand up 4 what's rite 😎. lets hope this war powers resolution passes & trump has 2 back down 🙅‍♂️. btw, i dont think trumps "unconstitutional" claim is gonna hold water lol 🤣.
