ugh this is so crazy packages get lost or delayed in rikers prison like what's the point of sending a holiday gift if it doesn't even make it to your loved one 
the system is just so messed up and there's no transparency on why things are getting rejected or lost. it's not just frustrating for families but also financially devastating for attorneys who have to deal with this stuff. can't we just get some basic human decency implemented here?

I just feel so bad for those guys on Rikers... it's like, you know when you're trying to get your cousin a new gaming console for Christmas but it keeps getting delayed or lost in the mail? Yeah, that's what's happening there. And it's not just packages, it's people's basic needs like warmth and stuff. I mean, can't we just get this sorted out already? 
It's been going on for ages and I'm sure families are getting so frustrated trying to send those care packages. My grandma used to send me care packages all the time when I was in college and it would always take a few weeks but at least she'd get them there eventually... what if these guys don't have that luxury?
