A shooting at a Houston nightclub left one man critically injured and sent the suspect fleeing into the night, police said Sunday morning. The incident occurred outside the establishment on Washington Avenue near Roy Street, where a physical altercation had begun earlier.

According to authorities, the victim was involved in a scuffle with an unidentified male in front of the club before pulling out a gun and shooting him. Witnesses reported hearing gunfire shortly after the fight broke out.
