Soap, wifi, but no football: a room without a view at Blackpool's stadium hotel

omg i cant even imagine paying for a room with pitch view only to be stuck in a dark room 🤯 what kinda rule is that tho? its like they're more worried about people having fun than makin money off those hotel rooms lol also dont understand why efl rules arent updated like every other thing 🕰️

🤔 This stadium hotel thingy is just another example of how they're trying to control every little thing about our lives, man... first, it's tickets, then it's seats, now it's what we can and can't do in our rooms. And for what? So the powers that be can say they're still enforcing some sorta rule from 40 years ago? Like, come on, who really thinks that old law is necessary anymore? 🤑 And don't even get me started on how they're making fans pay top dollar to stay somewhere with no view... it's just a rip-off, you know? Maybe this trial thingy will actually do something about it, but I'm skeptical. 😒 The system's always gonna find ways to mess us over in the end...

omg, can u believe this rule is 40 yrs old?! 🤯 it's like they're trying to suck all the fun outta match day! i mean, i get it about hooliganism and all that, but come on, this law doesn't make sense 2day. hotels r always makin progress n innovatin, so why cant radisson just figure out a way 2 lift these rules? 🤔 u feel me?! 👍

Ugh 🤦‍♂️, just had the most ridiculous experience at Blackpool's stadium hotel! Paid top dollar for a "Superior Room with Pitch View" but NOPE 😒, I was stuck in a windowless room because of some outdated EFL rule about not drinking alcohol within view of the pitch. Can you believe it? 🤯 It's like they're expecting us to just sit there and sulk while we can't even enjoy a drink while watching the match 🍺😔

I mean, what's next? Paying extra for a "Quiet Room" because we don't want to be disturbed by our own voices? 😂 This rule seems so outdated and unnecessary, especially for lower-risk matches. I guess some people might say it was put in place to combat hooliganism, but come on! 🤷‍♂️

I'm all for reforming this ridiculous policy! Can't we just have a trial period or pilot scheme where fans can enjoy the match without being penalized? 🤞 It's not like it'll make the game less safe or anything. The hotel management seems to be sticking their fingers up at us, and I'm so over it 😡.

I mean, what do you even get for paying extra for a "Superior Room" when it just means being stuck in a darkened room? 🤷‍♂️ It's like they're taking the phrase "no view of the pitch" way too literally 😂.

omg can u even believe they dont allow u to open curtains during matches at blackpool stadium hotel? its like theyre taking the piss! i mean who pays top dollar for a "superior room with pitch view" only to be stuck in a windowless nightmare? and whats with this outdated law anyway? its just another example of how stuffy football stadiums can be. gotta feel for the fans who r missing out on the match and their pints 🤦‍♂️🍺

Ugh, this is so messed up 🤯! Like, who thought it was a good idea to ban drinking during matches just because of old hooliganism laws? It's like they're treating us as kids or something 😒. And to top it off, the hotel management doesn't even try to come up with a solution, they just shrug and say "oh well" 🤷‍♂️. I mean, can you imagine if they did something to help fans enjoy the game? Like, they could have had a special bar area or something 🍺🏟️.

I'm all for safety and all that, but this rule just feels so outdated and unfair 😔. And it's not like it's going to stop hooliganism or anything (although, let's be real, most people who get rowdy are probably already hammered 🤪). It's just a blanket ban on alcohol during matches, which is just plain stupid 💁‍♀️.

I hope the Football Supporters' Association gets some traction with this and they can come up with a solution that actually helps fans enjoy the game 🙏. No one should have to choose between drinking and watching their favorite team play ⚽🍻. It's just basic human decency, you know? 😊
