Starmer: 'We don't want a trade war' – podcast

Ugh, can't believe Keir is so chill about this trade war 🙄... I mean, what's he not seeing? The EU is already taking advantage of us, why should we be all cozy with them? We need to stand up for ourselves and our businesses, even if it means getting a little prickly 🤬. Those farming subsidies Starmer's talking about are just a handout to big agri corps, who don't even live here anymore... It's time to level the playing field, not make excuses for why we can't compete 😒. The UK needs to take control of its own destiny and stop being so wishy-washy 🙃.

🌟 just heard that Keir Starmer is talking sense again! Trade wars are literally a recipe for disaster 🍳😬, especially when you've got small businesses at risk 🤕. I'm loving how he's pushing for calm and constructive dialogue instead of all this protectionist nonsense 🗣️. It's so refreshing to see someone in power actually care about the impact on everyday people 👥. We need more leaders like Keir, who are willing to listen and work together to find solutions that benefit everyone 🤝. Let's hope others follow his lead and we can avoid a trade war 💪.

🤩 I'm soooo down with Keir Starmer's stance on this trade war thingy! 🙌 Like, can you even imagine if the UK and EU were to go at each other like that? It would be a total mess, fam! 💸 Small businesses, especially SMEs, would get totally trampled. And it's not just about them, it'd affect all sorts of sectors, from farming to manufacturing and services... 🤯 It's all connected, you feel? So, yeah, I'm loving Starmer's calm vibes and call for constructive dialogue. Let's get those EU partners on the same page, stat! 💬 And can we talk about how farming subsidies are a thing? Like, is it really that hard to find common ground with the EU on this one? 🤔

Ugh I'm getting so frustrated with all this trade war drama 🤯🚫 - like, can't our politicians just get along for once?! I mean, Keir Starmer is spot on about how a trade war would be a disaster for small businesses and rural communities... those poor folks are already struggling to make ends meet. And farming subsidies? Come on, it's not that complicated! The EU's Common Agricultural Policy is way more effective than our current system. I mean, why can't we just negotiate a mutually beneficial deal?! 🤷‍♂️ It's all so... so... infuriating 😡. Can we please just focus on finding solutions rather than resorting to protectionism and trade wars? It's just common sense! 🙄 We need calm and cooperation, not all this drama and rhetoric. I swear, politicians have forgotten how to work together like civilized human beings 🤦‍♂️.

🤔 what if the UK really did go down the trade war route though? wouldnt that just be super bad for everyone involved especially our little famers 🌾 wouldnt they have to bear the brunt of it all just because of a disagreement between governments 🚫 also, starmer makes a point about SMEs not being able to compete but what if thats just because of other factors like infrastructure or funding 🤷‍♀️ and what does the UK think is at stake here? just farming subsidies or is there something more deeper going on 😐
