I gotta say, I'm loving this whole Cuomo vs Sliwa thing 
. As a born and raised Staten Islander myself, it's crazy to see how our community is getting so divided. Like, I get it, we all have our opinions on the guy, but can't we just agree that Cuomo's been around for ages and Sliwa's got some balls for even trying? 
Either way, it's gonna be a wild ride till election day 
. My neighbor's cousin is actually voting for Sliwa because of his stance on policing, which I can respect 
. But at the same time, I'm worried about how Mamdani's policies are gonna affect our community 
. Guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens on election day

Staten Islanders are literally split down the middle – some people support Sliwa because he's all about being a 'hero' and stuff, while others back him for his policy differences with Mamdani. It's like, can't we just focus on what each candidate is actually going to do instead of which one is more 'moral' or 'authentic'? 
And don't even get me started on Cuomo trying to woo Republican voters... it's just so cringeworthy
