Study finds slightly higher risk of autism diagnosis in areas with more lithium in drinking water, but experts say more research is needed | CNN

I'm getting super worried about my kid's future 🤯! I mean, tap water has lithium in it? That's crazy! What if they're gonna be all like "Hey, let's give 'em some meds" just 'cause the levels are low 🤷‍♀️. It's already hard enough dealing with ASD, we don't need no more stressors, you know? 😩

I guess what I'm tryin' to say is, while it's cool that they're lookin' into this stuff, we need some real concrete answers, not just more research 🤔. Like, how much lithium is safe? How do we even know if the levels are gonna affect our kids differently?

It's all good and well for the scientists, but what about us parents who are already feelin' guilty 'bout everything? 🙅‍♀️ We need some guidance here, not just a bunch of "we need more research" 💁‍♀️.

🤔 This study is really giving me chills. I mean, who knew that lithium in tap water could be linked to an increased risk of ASD in kids? 🚽💧 It's crazy to think about how something we often take for granted can have such a big impact on our health. And the thing is, it's not just about kids - this association could also mean that higher levels of lithium exposure might be beneficial for adults with psychiatric disorders too! 💡 But at the same time, we need to be cautious and figure out how to safely navigate all these environmental stressors in our lives. I'm definitely going to make sure my tap water filter is on point from now on 🚿💦
