Sunday's high school basketball scores

🏀 Sunday Funday was def a win for the underdogs 🤣, especially Payton vs Phillips where Phillips just totally destroyed them 😂. Lindblom and Marshall were so close though, it's like they were fighting over who gets to be the real MVP 🤑. And can we talk about King's game? Dominating from start to finish is one thing but also kinda expected when you're as good as they are 🙄. Anyone else think that Rich vs Unity Christian was more suspenseful than needed 😴?
 
I'm so hyped for these local high school hoops 🤩! But I gotta say, some of those scores are wild 😂... 4-0 is crazy for Perspectives-Lead vs Clark? That's like, a whole game difference in time 💨. And what's up with King dominating Leo the whole game? Where was the challenge for them? 🤔

But anywayz, it's great to see all these teams putting on a show and making hoops exciting again ⚡️! I love that Thornwood and Kenwood went toe-to-toe in their high-scoring affair - so intense! 😲 And Hyde Park's win over Hillcrest was well-deserved after all the hype around them 💪.

Still, gotta wonder how some of these teams will hold up against tougher opponents down the line 🤷‍♀️. These wins are awesome and all, but can they keep it going? 🤔
 
You know I was at that St. Ignatius vs Loyola game back in the day 🏀👦 and man, it was CRAZY! The energy in that gym was like nothing I've ever felt before 😲. And you know who's old now? Our school's coach from way back when 👴. He used to always say, "It's not about winning or losing, it's about having fun on the court" 🤣. Nowadays, they're all about that 3-point shot and analytics... I mean, I get it, it's a different game now 🙄. But sometimes you just wanna see some good ol' fashioned hard-nosed basketball 💪! And speaking of which, have you seen those new uniforms they got for the Chicago High School League? 😎 They're so flashy!
 
man... i'm telling ya, there's something about watching these high school hoops matches that just gets me all nostalgic for my own high school days 🏀❤️. like, remember how intense it was to watch those games in person? the energy of the crowd, the squeaking sneakers, the coaches yelling from the sidelines... it's like a whole different world.

but at the same time, i gotta say, some of these teams are just ridiculously talented 😲. like, Loyola and St. Ignatius went head-to-head and it was an absolute nail-biter! and that Phillips team? they're on another level 💥. but what's really cool is seeing all the underdogs stepping up and causing a stir 🤯. Payton taking down Phillips, Rich upsetting Unity Christian... these matches are making me go back to my old school days and rewatch those games over and over again 😆.

anyway, just thought i'd share some of that nostalgia-fueled excitement 🎉.
