I'm not sure why they need to hear it from the Supreme Court, but coordinated spending between parties just seems like a way for politicians to game the system . I mean, who doesn't want their voice heard? But at the same time, if money is pouring in and creating fake support, isn't that kinda... unfair? It's like they're trying to buy votes or something. Can't we just have more transparency around campaign donations?
I think its a big deal that they're takin back coordinated spendin laws. Money in politics is already a major problem, and if these groups can just buy their way into makin decisions we gonna lose democracy. I mean, who gets to decide what's good for the country? The 1% or the majority of people? It feels like they're tryna give corporations more power than regular citizens, which is straight up unfair.
