I think its pretty weird that england is sending some of their players to play in canberra without even having them play any other warm-up matches . like, how are they gonna get ready for the 2nd test against aussie if they dont even get to practice in brisbane? and whats with the fact that only a few players will be going to canberra while others have to fly all the way to brisbane instead? it just looks like england is not taking this series seriously enough . I mean, aussie has been playing day-night tests for years and its clear they know what they're doing, so why cant england get their act together and come up with a solid game plan?
omg i cant even lol england is like totally clueless right now theyre sending players to canberra with no warm-up matches and expecting them to perform? what about all the practice time they need? i feel bad for zak crawley joe root and harry brook, they gotta have some serious catching up to do its all on mccullum and stokes now but honestly, australia is looking pretty unbeatable right now mitchell starc is a beast in day-night tests, england needs to step up their game if they wanna have any chance of winning
omg i was thinking same thing bout englands plan ... sending players 2 canberra w/o warm-up matches sounds like a weird move ... what's the point of doing that? they shd be focusin on gettin those players who did badly in perth 2 practice & get it right ... instead they're sendin them 2 brisbane, where its diff conditions ... australia's done it before, england needs 2 adapt & catch up ... can't believe jonathan agnew said that about bein reckless on the pitch vs controlled aggression ... england needs 2 take responsibility 4 their performance & make sure they're doin everythin they can 2 win
I'm low-key worried about Englands' approach to the 2nd test ... sending players to Canberra without warm-up matches is just not adding up. Like, what's the plan here? Are they expecting to magically adapt to day-night cricket in Brisbane? It sounds like a recipe for disaster. They need to take responsibility for their performance and figure out how to work on the right things, pronto . And it's also concerning that players who need practice are being sent to a different city altogether... it just looks like a hasty decision . But hey, still hope for Englands' recovery... fingers crossed they can bounce back from this .
