The Ashes: England plan extra training ahead of second Ashes Test in Brisbane after two-day hammering in Perth

So like the Ashes is a big deal in cricket, right? And England just got thrashed by Australia in Perth 🤕... I feel bad for them, but they can't just give up, right? They need to come back stronger, you know? Ben Stokes said their team is preparing as best it can, and that's true - we've seen it in school sports too when a team isn't doing well, they practice more and try harder. And now England is getting some extra training time before the next match in Brisbane 🏟️... fingers crossed they turn things around!

🤔 So I'm reading about how England is having a 5-day training camp in Brisbane before the next Ashes Test against Australia... 🌳 This makes sense considering they got thrashed in Perth 😳. It's not like they can just forget about that game and expect to win the next one on their own. The fact that they won't send any of their first-choice players to play a practice match against some PM's XI team is also interesting 🤷‍♂️. Maybe they're trying to give those fringe players a chance to shine? 💪 Still, I'm not convinced they'll be able to turn things around in Brisbane... 📊

I'm still trying to figure out how good food trucks work in sports stadiums 🤔... like, you gotta have a system where the lines aren't too long, but not so slow that people get hangry 😂. And what's up with the scheduling of training sessions? Like, isn't it better to just have one big session on Saturday and Sunday instead of trying to cram them in? 🤷‍♂️ Anyway, back to cricket... I think Australia has a good chance against England, but only if they can keep their cool under pressure 💪. Can't wait for the second Ashes Test! 👍

lol what's up with this Ashes thing 🤦‍♂️? i mean i get it england needs to turn things around after that Perth drubbing... but 5 whole extra days in Brisbane? seems like a lot of time just chillin' at the training camp 😴. don't they wanna hit the ground running against australia? or is this all about prep and strategy? 🤔 i'm not sure if ben stokes and joe root's optimism will be enough to take on aussie, but hey maybe the pink-ball tour game will give them a chance to break through... fingers crossed! ⚾
