The days of 4% pay rises are behind us – wages are now barely growing faster than inflation | Greg Jericho

I THINK ITS TIME FOR THE RBA TO RE-EVALUATE ITS POLICIES TOWARDS WAGE GROWTH! RIGHT NOW, ITS ALL ABOUT CONTROLLING INFLATION OVER SUPPORTING WORKERS WHO ARE STRUGGLING TO MAKE ENDS MEET 🤑📉. WE NEED POLICY CHANGES THAT BENEFIT THE Everyday PEOPLE, NOT JUST THE CORPORATIONS AND BIG BUSINESS FOLKS. IT MAKES SENSE FOR THEM TO FOCUS ON INCREASING WAGES OVER PREVENTING FURTHER INFLATION.

OMG 😱 0.7% pay rise is crazy low 💸! I feel like my salary has barely kept up with inflation too, it's like they're not even trying to keep pace 🤯. The fact that public sector wages are growing way faster than private sector wages is wild 🤑. And now the RBA says it'll take until 2044 for real wages to recover? That's, like, forever! 😩 We need to see some serious changes in the government and companies to support workers and get our pay rises back on track 💪🏽💼
