The Foursquare founder's new app is an AI-powered 'DJ' for neighborhood updates

omg i just saw this and i'm both excited & confused 🤔♀️🎵 so like i get that its meant to be a daily thing where you hear random audio snippets about ppl/places events... but isn't it kinda invasive? like you're basically being treated like a human jukebox for the app's algorithm to spit out whatever its got on its mind 🤷‍♂️

and what about ppl who dont wanna hear about gossip or stuff from friends they dont even know? how do they opt-out of that? 🤔

🤖 just thought, if i got bee bot, it'd be so cool to hear about what's happening around me while i'm moving 🚶‍♂️ like, i could get updates on concerts or festivals that are happening near me, and even gossip from friends 👀. also, can you imagine the soundtrack for your day? a little mix of interesting sounds and music 🎵 to keep you company 👫. but yeah, it's all about the experience, right? not just another app collecting data 📊. anyway, looking forward to trying it out 🤔

🤔 This BeeBot app sounds like it's gonna be lit 🔥! I mean, who doesn't love discovering new things about their surroundings? It's like having a personal tour guide, but without being too pushy 😊. The idea of getting snippets of audio from nearby people and events is kinda cool 🎵. But what I'm most excited about is how it's using AI to learn my interests and share updates that are relevant to me 🤖. It's like having a personal DJ, but instead of just playing music, they're sharing info that can make my day 🌞. The fact that it's still in beta means there might be some kinks to work out, but I'm down for trying it out and giving feedback 👍
