The Highgate Vampire review – stranger-than-fiction events make for biting comedy

I'm loving this reimagining of the infamous vampire sightings in Highgate! It's so refreshing to see a comedic twist on what could've been super spooky. The idea of Patrick Sheffield and Daniel Farringdon going head-to-head as vampire hunters is hilarious 😂. I wish they'd pushed the scares a bit more, but that lighthearted tone is actually kind of charming. I can imagine how awesome it would be to see this show done as a site-specific promenade performance, with the real Highgate cemetery adding to the creepiness 🌃💀. Still, "The Highgate Vampire" is a great way to poke fun at London's weird history and gives you some nice laughs 💭👍

I gotta say, I'm not sure if this reimagining of the vampire sightings is gonna work... 🤔 The idea sounds pretty funny, but there's also something kinda cool about exploring those real-life events. I think what would make it even better is if they incorporated more actual history and folklore into the show - maybe some behind-the-scenes info on what really went down in Highgate cemetery? That would add a whole new level of depth to the comedy. And omg, can you imagine seeing the real places where the sightings happened?! 🗺️
