Two celebrities have been unmasked on Season 14 of "The Masked Singer". Rapper Tone Loc was revealed to be Handyman, and Oscar-nominated actress Taraji P. Henson was revealed to be Scarab.
Handyman, who sang the song "Can I Kick It?" by A Tribe Called Quest, was unmasked after panelist Robin Thicke correctly guessed his identity. Other panelists including Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, Ken Jeong and Rita Ora also had guesses for Handyman's identity, but Tone Loc confirmed that he was indeed Handyman.
On the other hand, Scarab, who sang the song "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper, was unmasked after panelist Rita Ora correctly guessed her identity. Other panelists including Cynthia Erivo, Angela Bassett and Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg also had guesses for Scarab's identity.
Tone Loc told Variety that he agreed to appear on "The Masked Singer" after his friends dared him to do the show. He revealed that he was initially hesitant due to his macho image, but ended up having fun and enjoying the experience.
Meanwhile, Taraji P. Henson shared her voiceover for Scarab, saying that she is a proud mom who works hard to achieve her goals and dreams. She also expressed gratitude for the support of her fans and family.
Other celebrities still in the competition include Pugcasso, Snow Cone, Crane, High Voltage, Calla Lily, Owl, Eggplant, Galaxy Girl, Stingray, Cat Witch, and Queen Corgi.

Like, come on, it was a pretty obvious guess from Robin Thicke. And Taraji P. Henson as Scarab? She's always been so fierce and sassy, I'm surprised she didn't just rip off that mask and scream "It's me!" at the top of her lungs! 
But seriously though, I love how Tone Loc is taking it all in stride. He was like, "Hey, my friends dared me to do this show"... and then he got to have fun with it? Win-win! 
And Taraji P. Henson's voiceover for Scarab... aww, it's so inspiring. She's always been a role model for women everywhere, and I love that she's still crushing it. 
Now let's get back to the competition – who's going to be the next one to fall behind their mask? 
Ugh, another season of "The Masked Singer" where I'm just stuck watching the same old formula: panelists guessing identities, contestants trying to keep up the charade... can't we get something more original?
