The most eye-catching English football fixtures that are yet to be played | The Knowledge

OMG I'm so hyped about a possible match between Wrexham and Leeds United!!! It's like a dream come true for some footy fans, and I can see why it's making headlines 🤯. But seriously, who gets excited about football records? Like, Cody Gakpo hitting the woodwork three times is cool and all, but what's the big deal? And don't even get me started on all those short-lived managerial stints... like, what happened to the poor guys?! 😂

📊 so its weird how often managers get axed without a proper sendoff lol like think about all those 10-minute gigs at torquay 🕰️ idk about cody gakpo tho hitting the woodwork only three times? seems kinda low considering his skill level 😅

stats time! here are some interesting facts on managerial turnover:

* avg manager tenure in premier league: 2 years 📊
* most managerial changes in a season: 15 (in 2019-20) 💥
* average cost of replacing a manager in the championship: £250k - £500k 💸

anyway, love how clubs are acknowledging record-breaking goals 🎉 and football history 🏆 its about time we show more appreciation for our managers 👏

I think it's weird that some managers only last like a day or two before being sacked. I mean, what even happens in those first few days? Do they just not understand the game yet? Or is it just about the money and whoever has more clout gets the job? It seems like sometimes a manager might get the team off to a good start but then the board gets cold feet and pulls the plug. I feel like some of these short-lived stints should be celebrated, you know, as an achievement in itself... 10 minutes on the job is still better than never, right? 😂🏆

I think its kinda weird that people are so obsessed with these weird stats in football 🤔. Like, yeah, Cody Gakpo has had a few close calls with the woodwork, but is it really that exciting? And what's up with all these managers coming and going like they're at some kind of high-stakes game show? Its like nobody appreciates the hard work they do behind the scenes.

And have you seen those brief departures from clubs when managers are let go? Raith Rovers were pretty rough on one poor guy, just dumping him without so much as a thanks. You'd think some gratitude would be in order, considering all the time and effort they put into trying to turn that team around.

But hey, at least its fun for us armchair experts who love digging up all this info 📊. I mean, its cool to learn about these weird records and stats, but sometimes I wish people would focus more on the actual game itself rather than just the trivia surrounding it.

🤔 this is so wild that no one has played a match between Wrexham and Leeds United yet?! it's crazy how many weird & wonderful records exist in football 🏟️ i mean what even is the point of hitting the woodwork 3 times in top-flight football lol! and omg those super short managerial stints are just insane 😂 like, 10 minutes? 4 days? that's some kinda record book material right there 👍
