The Olympics are pricing out their own audience

🤯 I'm telling you, these Olympics are getting out of hand 🚨! $1600+ per seat? Who's really supposed to be attending this thing? The real question is, what happened to the whole "unity in sports" vibe? I mean, I've been following the hockey tournaments online and it's still just as exciting as when I was a kid watching it on TV 📺. But now we're basically forced to watch from our couches because the prices are insane 💸. It's not like they're selling out stadiums or anything - the resale market is flooded with tickets that people can barely afford 🚫. I'm starting to think that if you want to see these events live, you just gotta be a sponsor or have deep pockets 🤑...

I'm like totally stoked about these ticket prices lol 🤣... no way, I just feel ripped off. $1,600 is insane! Who can afford that? But at the same time, I get it, major events are super exclusive now, and that's kinda what they're meant to be. It's not like everyone's meant to go anyway 🤷‍♀️... but still, €1,400 is whack, right? I mean, if you can afford a Disney World trip, maybe you should be able to splurge on some Olympic tickets too? Not saying it's fair or anything, but it's just the way it is now. The resale market is wild, btw... who gets to decide how much money goes to those third-party sites? 🤔 It's like, what even is the point of having a global audience if they can't even attend in person? I guess that's just progress or whatever... 😒

Man, this is wild! 🤯 I mean, think about it - what's the point of hosting these massive events if only the rich folks can afford to attend? It's like they're creating a whole new level of exclusivity on top of being athletes already.

And don't even get me started on the resale market. It's like, I get it, people wanna make some cash off their tickets, but come on! 😩 There should be a way for fans to experience these events without breaking the bank. It's not just about watching from home; it's about being part of something bigger.

I think this says a lot about our society, you know? We're always trying to create more access and inclusivity, but sometimes that comes at a cost. 🤔 What's the value of experiencing these events in person if only a select few can afford it?

It's like, what happened to the spirit of community and shared experience that sports are supposed to bring us? 🏆 We're losing that touch, man. And yeah, I know it's all about making money and catering to sponsors, but can't we find a way to balance that with giving fans a chance to be part of it too?

man... i was just thinking about getting a good deal on tickets for the new Marvel movie 🎥 and now i'm reading this about the Olympics and i'm like woah... $1,600 a seat? that's crazy! did you know that some restaurants in tokyo can cost up to 10,000 yen per meal? like, what even is a normal price for food anymore? anyway, back to the Olympics... i think it's kinda sad when events get so expensive that only rich people can afford them.

I'm telling ya, this is just another example of how the Olympics have lost touch with what makes sports so amazing in the first place. Back in the day, it was all about the athletes and the competition, not some fancy-schmancy ticket prices that'll break the bank 🤑. Now, you gotta be a millionaire or a corporate sponsor to even get close to scoring tickets for those events. It's like they're pricing out the regular people who actually care about the sports 🤦‍♂️. And don't even get me started on the resale market... it's just ridiculous 💸. I remember when watching the Olympics was all about sharing that experience with your family and friends, not paying a small fortune to sit in the stands 👥. The world of sports is losing its way, folks 🤔.

Ugh, I'm like totally bummed out about this 🤕... the Olympics have always been supposed to be for everyone, you know? but now it's like, only rich people can afford to go in person 😔. I mean, €1,400 is straight ridiculous! my little bro was gonna try and get tickets for his birthday but we just can't swing that kind of cash 🤑... so yeah, I guess I'll be stuck watching on TV with a bunch of other disappointed fans 👀.
