There should be a way for fans to experience these events without breaking the bank. It's not just about watching from home; it's about being part of something bigger.
I think this says a lot about our society, you know? We're always trying to create more access and inclusivity, but sometimes that comes at a cost.
What's the value of experiencing these events in person if only a select few can afford it?

! $1600+ per seat? Who's really supposed to be attending this thing? The real question is, what happened to the whole "unity in sports" vibe? I mean, I've been following the hockey tournaments online and it's still just as exciting as when I was a kid watching it on TV 
. But now we're basically forced to watch from our couches because the prices are insane

. I'm starting to think that if you want to see these events live, you just gotta be a sponsor or have deep pockets

... no way, I just feel ripped off. $1,600 is insane! Who can afford that? But at the same time, I get it, major events are super exclusive now, and that's kinda what they're meant to be. It's not like everyone's meant to go anyway 
... but still, €1,400 is whack, right? I mean, if you can afford a Disney World trip, maybe you should be able to splurge on some Olympic tickets too? Not saying it's fair or anything, but it's just the way it is now. The resale market is wild, btw... who gets to decide how much money goes to those third-party sites? 
and now i'm reading this about the Olympics and i'm like woah... $1,600 a seat? that's crazy! did you know that some restaurants in tokyo can cost up to 10,000 yen per meal? like, what even is a normal price for food anymore? anyway, back to the Olympics... i think it's kinda sad when events get so expensive that only rich people can afford them.
