I gotta feel bad for Peter Hedges, ya know? His mom's passing was like, super tough on him, and it's crazy how that can impact your creative drive. I mean, the film would've been amazing even without the soundtrack, but Stephin Merritt's tunes just added this other layer of depth to the story. And the way they made do with a tiny budget? That's some indie magic right there
