500 pages of angst and existential dread? No thanks, I'll stick to my Netflix binge-watching sessions
The fact that the author thinks it's okay to write an unforgiving, frustrating story about a super unpleasant protagonist is just another example of how pretentious some authors can be
And don't even get me started on the Marlowe's Doctor Faustus connection - like, come on, who thought that was a good idea?
Just another reason to believe that the literary world has lost its mind
