The Smallville star who joined a sex cult: best podcasts of the week

I'm still trying to wrap my head around Allison Mack's past. I mean, she was a part of this cult and now she's out and talking about it...it's like her story is so convoluted 🤯. I feel bad for people who got hurt by NXIVM, but at the same time, you gotta wonder if Allison was in way over her head. I'm curious to see how this podcast series plays out, Natalie Robehmed seems like a good interviewer tho 👀
 
Man, I'm like totally fascinated by Allison Mack's story 🤯. I mean, can you imagine being part of a cult that's literally the dark side of all those self-help seminars? 😂 But at the same time, I feel so bad for her - she was basically trapped in this toxic situation and it's crazy to think about what she went through.

On the flip side, Dr. Rachel Varnam's story is like whoa... Antarctica during a pandemic? That's some next-level survival skills right there 🌊. And I'm loving that "The Coldest Shift" podcast - it's like we're experiencing her adventure alongside her 😍.

I'm not sure what to think about Mary Houlihan's new podcast, though. I mean, she sounds super smart and all, but is she gonna be too preachy? 🤔 Still gotta check out "Jane Austen's Paper Trail" - Jane Austen is like my ultimate queen 👑.
 
I'm really intrigued by Allison Mack's story 🤔👀 it's crazy how complex her situation is... I mean, you can't just reduce it to 'victim' or 'perpetrator' – there are so many shades of gray in between. It's like, was she trapped and manipulated, or did she knowingly play along? 😳 Anyway, I'm gonna be listening to that new podcast series "Allison after NXIVM" 👂️ can't wait to dive into it...
 
I'm shocked that someone as talented as Allison Mack was involved in such a dark cult 🤯. I think it's great that Natalie Robehmed is bringing attention to this story and giving her a platform to share her side of things 💡. I don't know if she was manipulated or complicit, but I do hope she's found some healing and closure after going through all that trauma 🙏. On a lighter note, Dr. Rachel Varnam sounds like an amazing doc 👩‍⚕️! I'd love to hear more about her adventures in Antarctica 🌊.
 
I'm still trying to wrap my head around Allison Mack's situation 🤯. It's like, you feel bad for her, but at the same time, you're like 'girl, what were you thinking?' You know? I mean, she was part of that crazy NXIVM cult and now she's out and doing podcasts... it's just a lot to take in. And I'm not sure if people are giving her enough credit for coming forward about it or if they're still gonna be like 'she's a total psycho' 💁‍♀️. But whatever, at least she's trying to make amends, right? 🤞
