I gotta say, I'm not surprised about the 8K TVs situation
. It's been pretty clear that most people aren't really feeling the need for it yet. I mean, think about it, 1 billion 4K units in use worldwide is a big number! And honestly, who needs 8K for their daily viewing habits?
Most people are just happy with good ol' 4K and some nice HDR features.
I love that the industry insiders are finally being realistic about it
. It's not like they were all blind to the fact that 8K wasn't going to be a game-changer. And you know what? I think this is actually a good thing for consumers. Now we're gonna see some amazing new tech come out, like OLED and Micro LED panels! That's what I'm excited about
.
I just wish manufacturers wouldn't keep trying to sell us on 8K TVs when we all know it's not the best value
. But hey, at least they're being honest now. And who knows? Maybe one day we'll see some awesome 8K content that makes it worth having one... but for now, I'm good with my 4K and my wallet is too
