I gotta say, I'm really disappointed with War Between the Land and the Sea so far
. I mean, tackling climate change and environmental issues is important, but it feels like they're just scratching the surface (no pun intended). It's like they're trying to check off a box of "issues" without actually digging deep enough to make a real impact.
And don't even get me started on how much I'm missing the complexity of Doctor Who
. The way they've watered down UNIT and just made them this benevolent organization is so not believable. It's like they're avoiding the elephant in the room (again, no pun intended). If they really want to make a statement about our relationship with the environment, they need to be willing to get a little messy and uncomfortable.
I'm all for trying new things, but it feels like War Between is just phoning it in
. I hope they can find their footing (sorry, had to
) and actually deliver on what they're promising.
