This week on "Sunday Morning" (Nov. 30)

Jane Pauley hosts "Sunday Morning" this week, kicking off at 9:00 a.m. ET on CBS and streaming on the CBS News app starting at 11:00 a.m. ET. This week's episode features a cover story with blind rock climber Jesse Dufton, who has conquered thousands of peaks without relying on his vision due to a rare degenerative condition called rod-cone dystrophy. Dufton opens up about how losing his sight didn't stop him from pursuing his passion.

The show also explores the life and legacy of Paul Cézanne through an arts segment, highlighting the French artist's influence and themes in 186 works on display at Aix-en-Provence's Musée Granet. Artist Marc Jacobs talks with editor Amy Astley about capturing timeless designs for Architectural Digest magazine.

Additionally, Metallica has been making headlines for their philanthropic efforts, with band members discussing how donating to charity through their foundation All Within My Hands has helped them make a positive impact on the world.

Catch up on what's happening in the nation and world, as well as some of this week's notable deaths.

omg i cant even believe how inspiring jesse dufton is!!! loosing ur sight dont stop u from chasing ur dreams lol! & paul cézanne was literally a genius like who else could make art so timeless? 🤯🎨 i also love that metallica is using their platform 4 good, it shows that even celebrities can make a diff with the ppl 💖

That blind rock climber Jesse Dufton is super inspiring 🤩. I mean, losing sight can be really tough, but he just took it in his stride (no pun intended) and kept climbing! And the fact that he's conquered thousands of peaks without relying on his vision is just mind-blowing. It makes me wonder what we could achieve if we didn't let our limitations hold us back 🤔.

Also, I'm curious to see how Metallica's philanthropic efforts are making a difference. Giving back to the community and helping those in need can have such a profound impact on people's lives ❤️. And that Aix-en-Provence's Musée Granet has an amazing collection of Paul Cézanne's works, I'm defo gonna check it out later!

idk man... i'm like totally stoked about metallica's philanthropic efforts 🤘, but at the same time, isn't it weird that they're only doing it now? like, what took them so long to care about giving back to society? 😕 and another thing, jessie dufton is super inspiring, but don't we need to find a cure for his condition instead of just admiring him? 🤔 plus, paul cézanne's art is classic and all, but can't we talk about something else besides the same old famous artists every week? 😴

man... this guy Jesse Dufton is like totally inspiring you know? he lost his sight but didn't let that stop him from chasing his dreams 🤯. it makes me think about how our limitations can actually be an opportunity to find new ways of doing things and pushing ourselves in different directions. we often focus on what we can't do, instead of thinking about all the cool stuff we can still accomplish. anyway, gotta keep that in mind when I'm feeling stuck myself 😊.

OMG, I'm so inspired by Jesse Dufton's story 🤯🏔️! It's like, his condition could've held him back, but he found a way to adapt and pursue what he loves - rock climbing is such an amazing passion! 💪 And it's great that Metallica is using their platform for good through their foundation 🙌. I'm also curious about the arts segment on Paul Cézanne - his influence on art is massive, you know? 🎨 I'll have to check out those 186 works at Musée Granet soon! 💥

I'm feeling super inspired by Jesse Dufton's story 🤩! I mean, who needs sight to rock climb thousands of peaks? It just goes to show that life is full of unexpected twists & turns, but it's how we respond that matters. His determination & passion for his sport are truly humbling ❤️.

It's also awesome to see artists like Marc Jacobs creating timeless designs that bring beauty to our world 🎨. And let's give a shoutout to Metallica for using their platform for good - giving back through their foundation is a great way to spread love & kindness 🤝. Can't wait to tune in to Sunday Morning & learn more about these incredible people! 😊

Jesse Dufton's story is def inspiring - losing his sight doesn't define him, he's still kickin it and conquerin peaks. And can we talk about Paul Cézanne for a sec? He's literally the OG Post-Impressionist 🎨. I love how they're highlightin his influence on so many artists. And Metallica's philanthropic efforts are amazing! It's awesome to see them using their platform 4 good 🙌

😊 I just saw that episode of Sunday Morning and I gotta say, Jesse Dufton is super inspiring! Losing his sight didn't stop him from pursuing rock climbing and it's crazy to think about how he's conquered thousands of peaks without relying on his vision 🤯. It makes me realize how much we take our senses for granted. Anyway, the segment on Paul Cézanne was really interesting, I love learning about art history 🎨. And Metallica's philanthropic efforts are amazing, I've been following them for years and it's awesome to see them giving back 💖.

just watched that video about Jesse Dufton and i cant help but feel so inspired by his story 🤯 i mean, you gotta see him climbing with no sight and still managing to conquer all those peaks its like, what more proof do we need that we can achieve anything we set our minds to? and its not just him, theres this other thing about Metallica donating through their foundation and making a real difference in the world... i wish we could all be more like them 🤝

Blind rock climber Jesse Dufton is literally an inspiration 💥. I mean, imagine being out there, surrounded by nothing but air and trees, relying solely on your other senses to navigate these insane routes 🤯. And he's been doing it for years, no big deal 😎. It's amazing how losing his sight didn't stop him from pursuing his passion – that takes a lot of guts 💪. I'm definitely going to check out that segment this Sunday morning ⏰.

🤯 so i'm watching this jane pauley thing on sunday morning and i'm like wow blind guy is climbing mountains like he's got nothing to lose haha 🏔️ but seriously it makes me think about what we take for granted with our eyesight and how cool it would be to live life without that burden 🙌
