I was way too late on this one... But seriously, it's crazy how Trump thinks he can just muscle in on another country like that! 
Like, what's next? Asking the UK if they want to be part of his reality TV show or something? 
The fact that 85% of Greenlanders are against joining the US is basically a huge middle finger to Trump and his administration. And I love how Denmark is standing firm behind its people, it's awesome!

Newsflash: Greenlanders have their own government and they've made it clear they don't want to be under US control 
And can we talk about how Denmark is just getting caught in the middle of this? I mean, Denmark has its own interests and relationships with other countries, but Trump's threats are putting a strain on those relationships
I also don't get why some lawmakers are saying that Greenland's autonomy is somehow tied to NATO? Like, what even is that connection? It's just a bunch of politicians making excuses for Trump's erratic behavior

It's just a bunch of politicians making excuses for Trump's erratic behavior I'm telling ya, this is a total mess ... but at the same time, I think it's awesome that people are standing up for what they believe in 
. Like, Trump is totally out of line with his Greenland thing, no question about it . But on the other hand, I don't know, man... maybe Denmark and Greenland should just chill and not make such a big deal about it? It's all just politics, right? 
I mean, 10% tariffs are gonna hurt people, but I'm not sure if they're really necessary

But then again, Chris Coons makes a valid point - if Denmark is our NATO ally, shouldn't we support them? I guess it's all about perspective, you know? Some people see this as a threat to global stability, while others just wanna leave Greenland alone. Can we really blame 'em for that? 
Anyway, I'm all for unity and solidarity, but can't we all just get along?
