omg did u know that the grateful dead's live concerts were like festivals?? they had these crazy jam sessions where they'd play for hours and hours and it was like a community thing... ppl would just show up and be like "hey, i'm here for this!" it was so beautiful and bob weir was like the heart of that whole vibe... i feel bad he's gone but his music is still out there making people happy
awww that's so cool thousands of ppl gathering 2 pay respects 2 bob weir, he was like a legend 4 real his music brought ppl together & made them feel part of somethin special... its amazing how his legacy lives on even after he's gone
just saw this news about the public memorial for Bob Weir and it's truly beautiful I'm getting chills thinking about how his music brought people together like that... 20k fans gathered at Civic Center, sharing their love and gratitude it's amazing to see how his legacy lives on and inspires new generations John Mayer's story with Weir is especially heartwarming - who wouldn't want a community that gave them a chance? and those flowers and cards outside the Haight Street house are such a lovely tribute it's like Weir's music will always be with us, carrying people together forever
"Believe you can and you're halfway there." Still can't wrap my head around the fact that we've lost Bob Weir... 78 years young might have been short, but his impact on music is eternal
so sad that the legend has left us but his impact on music history is still alive and well it's amazing how one person can create a sense of community like Bob Weir did with the Grateful Dead his legacy will continue to inspire new generations of fans for years to come
