Tlaib pushes for answers after death at ICE detention center - Detroit Metro Times

man I'm so worried about this North Lake Processing Center 🤕, it sounds like they're just not being transparent enough about what's really going on inside that place. 1,400 people crammed in there with no proper medical care or oversight? it's crazy! and now a guy dies and they still don't know the cause, that's just unacceptable. Tlaib is right to be pushing for answers here, we need to know what's really going on behind closed doors. I'm also getting frustrated with DHS trying to attack her and other lawmakers who are trying to do their job. shouldn't they just focus on fixing the problems instead of denying them?
 
Ugh I'm still shaking my head over this poor guy Nenko Stanev Gantchev he was only 56 yrs old and died at the North Lake Processing Center while being held by ICE can you even imagine what his family must be going through 💔🤕 it's just devastating that a facility run by private companies is supposed to provide basic care for people in detention and yet we see cases like this happening over and over again

And I'm so fed up with the lack of transparency from these facilities it's like they're hiding something because if the public knew what was going on at places like North Lake Processing Center, there would be outrage and action taken to change things 🚫💥

Rep Tlaib is absolutely right to push for answers and oversight she's not just whistling Dixie and making it up as she goes along, she actually cares about people's lives and wants to make sure that no one else has to go through what Gantchev's family is going through right now 💖
 
ICEs lack of transparency is getting outta hand 🚨! They're more concerned with spinning their narrative than giving us the truth. I mean, come on, they can't even get it together to notify Congress about a detainee's death, and then have the audacity to attack Rep. Tlaib for speaking up? It's like they think we don't care about accountability or human lives! 🤕 The ACLU is right, this facility has a history of neglecting people in its care, and it's time someone held them accountable. We need more oversight, not less. And let's be real, if Trump is filling these detention centers with undocumented immigrants at record rates, that's a red flag for many Americans 🤔. It's time to shine a light on what's really going on in these facilities and make sure we're protecting everyone's rights. We deserve better than "FALSE allegations" from DHS 👎
