Today on Sky Sports Racing: Uttoxeter, Auteuil and Sha Tin

International Flair on the Racing Scene: A Trio of Thrilling Meetings at Uttoxeter, Auteuil, and Sha Tin

Saturday's racing card boasts an exciting international flavour, with live coverage from three captivating venues: Uttoxeter, Auteuil, and Sha Tin. The racing action promises to be a thrilling spectacle, showcasing some of the world's top jockeys and trainers.

Over at Uttoxeter, Aworkinprogress is set to make his highly-anticipated return to fences in the Birrificio Angelo Poretti Handicap Chase (1.17). This six-year-old, trained by Nick Gifford, has been on an impressive upward trajectory, with a staggering 25-pound rise in weight from his debut start at Newton Abbot. As he takes on this tougher assignment, it's hard to see him being denied another victory.

In contrast, Passing Kate (1.52) is the horse to beat in the Eaton Hall Shooting Ground Mares' Handicap Chase. Matt Shepherd's talented mare has been in excellent form since tackling fences and now drops back in distance for her return from a 266-day break. This will be a fascinating test of her abilities as she takes on Blacksamssenorita, who heads into this handicap debut with a strong reputation.

A highlight of the Auteuil meeting is undoubtedly the Grade One Prix Serge Landon - Grand Prix d'Automne (2:50). Losange Bleu headlines this prestigious event and should prove tough to beat, following his impressive display here last month. The Auteuil card also stages two Group Twos, adding an extra layer of prestige to the racing action.

Meanwhile, at Sha Tin, the focus is on Queenofthejukebox in the Carlsberg Britvic Mares' 'National Hunt' Maiden Hurdle (12:42). This talented five-year-old made a successful start to her season, winning two bumper races and finishing a solid fifth in Listed company. As she takes on her hurdling debut under Brendan Powell, there's no reason to doubt her potential for success.

Finally, at Uttoxeter, Jasmine d'Airy (2:27) is the one to watch after producing a career-best performance at Plumpton last time out. Her seasonal reappearance looks like a shoo-in, and Rathkenny (3:37) could also be a dark horse in the Point-to-Point recruitment stakes.

All in all, this international racing meeting promises to deliver an exciting day of action, with many talented horses and jockeys set to showcase their abilities.

I'm so stoked for this weekend's racing action 🏆🐴! The international flavor is gonna be electric, especially at Auteuil where they're running the Grade One Prix Serge Landon - Grand Prix d'Automne. Losange Bleu is looking fierce, and I think he's gotta be a contender for that top spot.

But what really got me excited is Passing Kate at Uttoxeter 🤩. That mare has been on fire since she started tackling fences, and now she's dropping back in distance after a 266-day break? She's like a phoenix rising from the ashes 🔥! I'm hyped to see how she'll do.

And at Sha Tin, Queenofthejukebox is looking like a dark horse in that Carlsberg Britvic Mares' 'National Hunt' Maiden Hurdle 🎯. Brendan Powell's got a good track record, so I think she's got this one in the bag.

Overall, it's gonna be a day filled with thrills and spills 🤯. Can't wait to see how these talented horses and jockeys perform!

omg 🤩 i cant wait for saturdays racing card esp Aworkinprogress at uttoxeter he seems like a strong contender 25lb rise in weight is insane 🤑 and Passing Kate looks super promising too 💪

🏇️ I'm loving the variety of international flair on the racing scene today 🌎! It's great to see top jockeys and trainers from around the world competing at Uttoxeter, Auteuil, and Sha Tin.

The standout horse for me is Passing Kate 👧 - she's been in phenomenal form since taking to fences and I think she's got a strong shot at winning the Eaton Hall Shooting Ground Mares' Handicap Chase. Losange Bleu looks tough to beat in the Prix Serge Landon, but I'm intrigued by Queenofthejukebox's hurdling debut 🐴.

I do wish they'd clarify what "Grade One" means - is it a ranking system or something else? 🤔 Anyway, it sounds like this meeting has all the makings of an unforgettable day of racing. Bring on the excitement and may the best horses win! 😄

I'm getting so sick of these websites that try to make every single event sound like a huge deal just because there's some international flair involved 🤦‍♂️. I mean, come on, Auteuil and Sha Tin are already established racing hubs, Uttoxeter is in the UK for crying out loud... it's not like we're discovering some hidden gem of a track here 🤔.

And don't even get me started on how they always have to include all these "talented" horses that somehow magically become "stars overnight" 🔥. I'm not buying it, guys. Passing Kate sounds like just another horse trying to make a name for herself 😒. And what's with the constant use of words like "thrilling", "spectacle", and "prestigious"? Can't they just keep it real for once? 🤷‍♂️

I'm gonna put my money on Aworkinprogress at Uttoxeter 🤑, he's been looking pretty solid and that 25-pound rise in weight is just a minor speed bump. But let's be real, he's not invincible and Passing Kate is giving him a run for his money. And don't even get me started on the Auteuil card, Losange Bleu looks like a total tank 🚧, I'm worried it's gonna be a long day for everyone else. The Sha Tin meeting seems pretty solid though, Queenofthejukebox has got some decent form going on and I think she'll take it by storm. But we'll just have to wait and see how it all plays out 😐

omg i just got the most amazing new phone 📱 it has like 12gb of ram and a 120hz screen its so fast i feel like im flying 😂 anyway what was this about racing again? did they say how much money people could win? and whats with all the names on the horses... workinprogress and passing kate sound like actual jobs not horses 🐴🤔
