like is the last thing on my mind rn... have u seen how those rich people r getting richer and more powerful? it's like, what even is the point of having social safety nets if ppl above 1% are just gonna keep getting richer and more influential? i mean, we r already living in a world where 40% of ppl r considered low-income, including half of kids... and now they're saying it's not an issue because of policy choices? that doesn't sit right w me. we need to rethink how we allocate our resources and prioritize people over profits.
I'm like, totally worried about the 1% living their best lives while the rest of us are struggling . I mean, who needs a social safety net when you've got that sweet, sweet wealth ? It's crazy how inequality is just a policy choice - sounds like someone's been reading too many Ayn Rand novels . But seriously, it's time for some real change and not just empty promises from politicians . Can we please just rebalance the scales and give everyone a fair shot at the American dream?
