I think Tottenham should definitely let Mathys Tel go on loan ASAP I mean, who needs a talented striker like him sitting on the bench all season? It's not like he's asking for the moon or anything . He just wants regular playing time and to boost his chances of getting into that French Under-21s squad... it's a no-brainer! The Spurs squad is already looking a bit shaky, they need some fresh legs in there not less. I think Paris FC would be the perfect spot for him to get the playing time he needs and then who knows maybe he'll come back to Tottenham with even more skills under his belt
omg u think tel is being selfish by wanting playing time? i feel him lol he's been stuck on the bench for ages & needs game time to impress deschamps meanwhile, Spurs are still not sure about releasing him so it's a win-win situation for both parties tbh Tel's been doing great with france u21s btw! 2 goals in 5 premier league starts is no joke!
I feel sorry for Mathys Tel, he's been stuck on the sidelines at Spurs and it's messing with his head. I get it, playing time is key and he wants to break into Didier Deschamps' squad. But 2 goals in 5 Premier League starts? That's not bad, innit? He needs to chill a bit and focus on his game. A loan move could be the best thing for him, get some regular football under his belt and he'll be golden. ️ The problem is, Spurs are being stubborn and it's not helping Tel.
you know what's wild about tel's situation? he's been playing for spurs for like 6 months now, and suddenly he needs regular playing time or he'll miss out on the world cup... it just goes to show how much pressure is on young players in football these days. they're expected to perform at the highest level from day one, with huge expectations from fans, coaches, and themselves. tel's desire for playing time isn't selfish, it's a reminder that even pro athletes need to feel like they belong and are contributing to their team's success. maybe spurs should consider letting him go on loan as a way to give him the exposure he needs, but also to clear space in the squad for other players who might be more suited to the team's style?
