Trial starts in $40M lawsuit filed by a teacher who was shot by a 6-year-old student

I mean, I'm not saying Ebony Parker is totally off the hook here 🤔, but come on, four people warning about a six-year-old with a gun? That's just crazy talk! 🙅‍♂️ And what's up with her defense team trying to spin it like they did nothing wrong? 🤷‍♀️ I mean, yeah, no one can predict what a kid is gonna do, but that's not Parker's job, you know? She was the one in charge! 💼

And can we talk about how much money is being thrown around here? $40 million? That's just insane! 💸 Like, I get it, Abby Zwerner needs medical care and all that, but do we really need to make this case soooo big? 🤑 It's just gonna make people feel worse about school shootings in general... 🤕

But at the same time... 🤔, if Parker was that clueless, then what's her excuse for not taking action? I mean, she had the authority, right? So yeah, maybe she made some mistakes, but maybe she wasn't entirely at fault either... 😐

🤔 u know what's wild? its not like this is an isolated incident where some random kid brings a gun to school. we've had too many of these incidents recently. and yeah Ebony Parker might not have done everything right but can't we just acknowledge that the system failed this poor teacher, Abby Zwerner? I mean, she spent weeks in hospital after getting shot by a 6 year old... what were they even doing? it's clear that there are some major gaps in how schools handle these situations. 💔 and its not like Parker was some kind of hero who didn't do anything wrong. the problem is just that the system is so broken that sometimes bad things happen to people we shouldn't have to worry about 🤕

I don't trust these new smart glasses that are supposed to help you see stuff that's far away... I mean, what if they're hacked or something? 🤖 We're already dealing with enough surveillance issues with social media and government databases, why do we need another way for companies to collect our data? And what's with all the "augmented reality" marketing? Is it just a fancy way of saying "we want your money"? 🤑

OMG 🤯 40 mil is crazy!!! I mean, can you even imagine if that had happened in your kid's class?! 😨 Ebony Parker should've acted on those warnings, it's just basic common sense 🙄. And the fact that she was just six and brought a gun to school... what was she thinking?! 😂 Like, parents need to be more vigilant and schools need to take this stuff seriously. This case is like, super important for all of us who want our kids to feel safe at school 💯
