Trump backs off Ukraine deadline as Witkoff coaching report emerges

Ugh I'm getting so confused about this whole situation ... Trump's always changing his mind like "oh yeah, we're gonna make peace" and then 5 mins later it's "nah, Ukraine needs to sign this deal". Can't he just stick to one thing? And now Witkoff is meeting with Putin next week? That doesn't sound good at all... I'm not sure what Trump's endgame is here. Is he really gonna push Ukraine into a deal that favors Russia?

ugh, this is just so...underwhelming. I mean, come on, a deadline just kinda...disappears? No pressure from Trump whatsoever. It's all about when it's "over", like that's some kind of loose guideline or whatever.

And what's up with Steve Witkoff coaching Russian officials? That's just weird. Like, who does that? And Jared Kushner being involved? Yeah, no thanks. His dad was a total mess and now his son-in-law is getting in on the action too...no thanks.

I guess it's good they're trying to negotiate security guarantees with Europe, but this whole thing just feels like a big mess. Ukraine deserves better than some vague peace plan that might not even be in their best interest. Can't Trump just keep his word for once?
