I'm getting really worried about this new review of immigration cases

... Like what if they start targeting people who are already living here? My cousin is from Afghanistan, she came to the US on a green card years ago and has been working hard ever since

. What if they just take that away from her because of where her parents are from? It doesn't seem right, you know?

And what about people who are already in the country, living their lives, paying taxes, and contributing to society? Shouldn't they be protected, not targeted just because of their nationality?

It's like, we're a melting pot, aren't we? We're supposed to be welcoming to everyone, no matter where they come from. This feels really mean-spirited to me
