
I gotta say, these new fuel efficiency standards are all over the place

! On one hand, saving people $109 billion is a nice chunk of change

, and if it means less pain at the pump for consumers, that's a win

. But on the other hand, environmental groups are saying this could be a huge step back for reducing carbon emissions

... which kinda worries me

. I mean, we're already seeing higher gas prices due to inflation and all that, so do we really want to make things worse?

I'm not sure if the long-term strategy is gonna play out in our favor here

. And what about those crossover vehicles?

They're basically just cars with more seats... how does classifying them as light trucks help anything?
