I'm so glad Trump decided to wade into Nigerian politics ... because what's a foreign policy move without a healthy dose of Twitter rage? Anyway, I do think it's concerning that Christians are being targeted in Nigeria, but let's not forget that the majority of victims are actually Muslims - maybe someone should give Ted Cruz a map and tell him to stick to Texas?

The thing is, when we start talking about cutting off aid or even military intervention, it feels like we're more interested in grandstanding than actual problem-solving. I mean, what's the real plan here? Is it just going to be a show of force to make Nigeria feel guilty about its Christians?

Nigeria's President Tinubu seems reasonable and level-headed, but I'm not holding my breath for the US government to follow suit. More like, let's focus on supporting human rights organizations and humanitarian efforts that actually do something concrete

I dont think its fair on nigeria to say they r intolerant just because some christians r getting persecuted . I mean, we all know that terrorism has no religion, so why pick on nigerias government for trying to keep the peace? We should be supporting them in stopping the violence instead of making threats . Its also not fair on muslims who are also being targeted by these terrorist groups . We need to be more careful with our words and actions towards other countries . Let's focus on finding solutions rather than creating more problems
