I don't get why people are making such a big deal out of this. Like, the guy who gets criticized is the president and his sec def has a weird sense of humor

I mean think about it... if the Pentagon knew what was goin on with that boat, why did they wait till there were survivors left? It's like they just let things spiral outta control. And Trump's all "I didn't know" but like, come on Pete, don't try to spin this...

especially with that defense secretary guy Pete... i mean come on, posting a mock book cover of a kids character shooting at boat crews? what is he even trying to say? 
like we all know that those people didn't do anything wrong they were just innocent survivors trying to stay alive. it's not okay for us to just ignore the human cost of our actions and pretend like everything is fine 
. But this? A second strike on a boat carrying survivors? That's just plain crazy 
. And Trump distancing himself from it like that? Not buying it 
. If he really wasn't aware of the orders, then why is Hegseth denying them too? It sounds like a big cover-up to me 
. The international community is right to be outraged – this kind of thing is a total breach of human rights and basic decency 
. Can't say I trust Trump's judgment on this one... or anything else, for that matter 
so trump is all like no i didnt order 2 kill those 2 survivors but i dont belive him lol. i mean if u r gonna do somethin, u gotta own up 2 it. n the worst part is pete hegseth said he did give orders 4 civilians 2 b killed on that boat w/ out even tryna cover it up 
Trump saying he didn't order a second strike, but if Hegseth's statement is true, then... 
I don't know what to think. The UN Human Rights Chief is calling for an investigation into war crimes, which is totally fair considering the evidence. It's not about politics or blame, it's about people's lives lost and the need for accountability.
