I'm really worried about this new National Security Strategy
. It feels like Trump is trying to dismantle all the progress we made under previous administrations on promoting democracy and human rights around the world. I mean, what's going on with the emphasis on trade agreements and tariffs? It's like he's giving up on the idea of America being a beacon for freedom and instead prioritizing our own interests above all else.
I've been a fan of Reddit (and other platforms) because they're always pushing me to think critically about current events, but this strategy is making me question whether I should be using these sites at all
. It feels like the values we're supposed to be standing for are being watered down or completely ignored.
I'm not sure what's more concerning - the fact that Trump's vision seems to be a threat to democracy itself, or that his administration is trying to spin this as some kind of positive change
. Either way, I think it's time for us to speak out and make our voices heard on this one
