Trump’s revenge campaign falls flat

President Trump's campaign of vengeance against his perceived enemies has hit a roadblock. A judge in the Eastern District of Virginia recently dismissed cases brought by former FBI Director James Comey and New York state Attorney General Letitia James due to improper appointment of the prosecutor, Lindsey Halligan.

Halligan's dismissal is significant because both Comey and James were high on Trump's enemies list, with the President directly soliciting their prosecutions from Attorney General Pam Bondi. In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote: "What about Comey, Adam 'Shifty' Schiff, Leticia???…We can't delay any longer, it's killing our reputation and credibility."

The dismissals may be a major setback for Trump, who has struggled to find lawyers willing to bring the indictments. However, the administration is far from defeated, with the Department of Defense announcing an investigation into Democratic Sen. Mark Kelly, a retired Navy captain, for appearing in a recent video reminding US service members that they have the right to refuse unlawful orders.

Kelly's potential court martial under the Uniform Code of Military Justice could be a significant escalation in Trump's efforts to target his enemies. While the rule of law has largely held against Trump's efforts so far, it is clear that he intends to keep trying.

As Thanksgiving week approaches, one can't help but wonder if this latest development will spark any meaningful action or simply serve as another example of the administration's propensity for baseless investigations and politically motivated prosecutions.

omg I'm kinda relieved about this news 🙌 ...I mean, it's not like Trump is going to stop trying to take down his enemies but at least some of these cases are getting dismissed. the whole thing with Halligan being appointed as prosecutor was sketchy from the start and it's good that the judge saw through it 💡. now about Kelly... I don't think a court martial over him reminding service members of their rights is necessary 🙄, we need to focus on supporting our troops instead of targeting them. let's hope this whole thing doesn't escalate further 🤞

trump's enemies list is getting longer 😒👀 what's next? is he gonna start investigating all the ppl who tweeted against him? 🤦‍♂️ it's getting old, like a worn-out shoe that nobody wants to wear anymore. 🕴️ his whole thing is just a bunch of noise, but I guess it's entertaining for some ppl 😒

I THINK IT'S GETTING CRAZY OVER HERE!!! TRUMP'S Campaign of vengeance is getting more and more EXPOSED, and it looks like the wheels are finally starting to come off his train! 🚂💥 The fact that he's trying to use the military justice system on some senator just shows how low he's willing to go. AND THE PROSECUTOR IN THESE CASES IS BEING DISMISSED? THAT'S A BIG DEAL!!! It's like the whole thing is starting to unravel, and I FOR ONE AM THRILLED TO SEE IT! 😂

I mean, who wouldn't want to see their name next to "Shifty Schiff" 😏? Anyway, I guess it's not surprising that Trump is trying to bully his way out of trouble again. It's just a bit...amusing how he thinks soliciting the help of another AG to get a case dismissed is going to fly under the radar 🙄.

On the bright side, I'm sure Lindsey Halligan will be totally fine with her career after being involved in this mess 💁‍♀️. And I hope Mark Kelly's video doesn't land him in hot water...or at least not as hot as Trump's Twitter account 🔥. As for the upcoming Thanksgiving week, let's just say my turkey is looking a little more tender than some people's reputation these days 🦃😂

omg u guys!!! so like there just was a major setback 4 trump's revenge tour lol he had 2 dismiss some cases bc his lawyer didn't get the green light 2 prosecute and now hes struggling 2 find new lawyers who r down 2 bring indictments 🤣 meanwhile in other news mark kelly's getting investigated by doj for talking about refusing unlawful orders like isnt that already a thing?? 🙄

I'm a bit worried about where this is all heading 🤔... I mean, Trump's been saying some pretty wild stuff lately and it feels like he's just not going to stop until someone puts his foot down. I've got friends who are military veterans and they're always telling me how much they value their sense of duty and honor. It's frustrating when politicians start making it harder for them to do what they know is right.

I'm also thinking about the whole investigation into Kelly - what's next? Are we going to see a bunch of senators and congresspeople facing court martial over just saying something on Twitter 🙄? I don't think that's how our system works, you know? It feels like Trump is trying to turn the tables on everyone and it's getting pretty scary.

Ugh 🤦‍♀️, Trump's drama never ends 😩! I mean, what's next? 🤔 His campaign is like a bad joke 😂. That judge in Virginia was like "nope" 👋 to Halligan's appointment, and now it looks like Trump's enemies list is getting smaller 🔴💣. Come on, dude, can't he just chill? 😎 But seriously, this investigation into Kelly could get pretty intense 🔥. One thing's for sure, Trump's lawyers are either all in or totally out 🤑🚫. And honestly, who needs this kind of drama during Thanksgiving week? 🦃😐.

omg u won't believe what just happened lol... so apparently trump's all fired up to take down Comey & james but now a judge in virginia has thrown out the cases against them because halligan, the prosecutor, got a weird appointment... like who does that?! anyway, this is a major bummer for trump since he was really counting on these cases going through. and now it's like "oh no, what do we do next?" 🤔

i gotta say tho, this whole thing is kinda crazy... i mean, you got trump tweeting about how he's gonna get his enemies but meanwhile there are actual investigations happening against dems too... like what even is the point of all this? is it just to distract us from the real issues while trump's out here causing a ruckus?

anywayz, can't help but wonder if this latest thing with Kelly will be another example of trump trying to stir up trouble. idk man, the whole situation just seems so... trump 🤪

🤔 I'm not surprised Trump's going down a road that's gonna get him into trouble. This whole thing feels like a big ol' mess. He's trying to use the justice system to silence his enemies, but it just keeps backfiring on him. Like, what's next? Is he gonna start arresting people for saying stuff that bothers him online? 🤦‍♂️ It's getting ridiculous.

And another thing, why is Trump so obsessed with taking down Comey and James? Did they really do something wrong? Or is it just because they won't play nice with him? It's kinda like he thinks he's above the law or something. Newsflash, Trump: you're not above the law just because you've got a Twitter account.

I'm also wondering when people are gonna start speaking up and saying enough is enough. We can't keep letting this guy run amok and get away with it. It's time for some accountability, dude! ⚖️

Trump's campaign of vengeance is like a diagram with too many branches 🤯💥

Imagine Comey and James on one side, Halligan's dismissal marks a point where two lines intersect 🔙👊

But what about Kelly? He's like an X marked for potential court-martial ❗🔫

You can draw two possible scenarios: one where Trump's efforts continue to backfire 📉 or another where the administration escalates its attacks and sparks some chaos 😬

Either way, it's clear that Trump is determined to test the limits of the law ⚖️👮‍♂️

🤔 This whole situation reeks of smoke and mirrors. Trump thinks he's above the law just 'cause he's a big deal, but that's not how it works 🚫. If someone's enemies list is getting all the attention, maybe they're doing something fishy? Meanwhile, Mark Kelly, who's actually done some real service to this country (retired Navy captain), gets investigated for doing his job 🙄. I'm all for accountability, but come on, folks, get a grip 😂. This is just more proof that Trump's gonna keep pushing the limits until someone puts a stop to it 💪. Time will tell if he'll back down or just dig in deeper 🕰️.

🤔 so like this is a bummer news right? Trump's campaign of vengeance against his perceived enemies just got hit with a roadblock 🚧 but I'm trying to see the bright side here... I mean, if these high-ranking officials can't bring an indictment it means they're really doing something right in their jobs 🙌 and let's be real, Lindsey Halligan getting tossed from the case is just a minor setback for Trump - it's not like he's going down without a fight 😂 what's next? The administration is already trying to get under Kelly's skin with some questionable investigation... but maybe this is an opportunity for transparency? 🤞

😔 I feel like Trump's actions are really taking a toll on his enemies... and it's not just about them, it's also about our democracy 🤝. It's like he's trying to break the system from within. I don't know how much more of this we can take before someone speaks out against him. The idea that he's targeting public figures for their opinions is just chilling 😱. Can we really expect politicians to act with integrity when they're under so much scrutiny? 🤔 It's like, what if we all just stayed silent and watched the system get slowly dismantled? That doesn't feel right either... 🙅‍♀️

🤔 This guy's ego's gonna be his downfall 🚨. Can't even get a simple case filed without throwing shade at everyone involved 😒. If this admin keeps going down this path, they'll just end up making fools of themselves 👎. Mark Kelly's right to refuse orders is being trampled on under Trump's watch, that's not leadership, that's authoritarianism 🚫.

I'm a bit worried about where Trump's vendetta is headed 🤔. The latest move to investigate Mark Kelly, just because he spoke up in support of service members' rights, is really concerning 🔥. It sets a chilling precedent that we're seeing more and more authoritarian tendencies from the administration.

I also wonder if we'll see more cases like James Comey's dismissed due to improper appointment of prosecutors 👮‍♀️. The fact that Trump himself was involved in soliciting prosecutions from Pam Bondi raises serious questions about his motives 🤷‍♂️.

It's almost as if Trump is trying to create a climate of fear, where people are too intimidated to speak up or take action against him 😬. And with the Department of Defense now getting involved, it feels like we're seeing more and more of an erosion of civil liberties 💔.

I hope the courts continue to hold the administration accountable for their actions, but at this point, I'm just not feeling very hopeful 🙅‍♂️.

I'm low-key freaking out right now!!! This latest update about Mark Kelly is insane 🤯! Like, Trump's team really thinks they can just investigate a senator who's reminding service members of their rights? That's not even politics, that's like, military lawbreaking 😱. And the fact that Trump's trying to go after Kelly's military record is just wild 🌪️. I mean, we all knew this guy was gonna keep pushing his luck, but come on, man! Can't he just let it go?! 😤

omg you guys, this is like soooo telling! Trump's whole "vengeance squad" thing is just getting more and more ridiculous 🤣 and now a judge has come out and shut down 2 of his top targets? That's gotta hurt 🤕 especially since it was because the prosecutor got appointed improperly. And let's be real, if someone's gonna take on Lindsey Halligan, they're basically taking on the whole Trump machine 🚫

And can we talk about how this is like something out of a movie? Like, where do these power struggles and conspiracies just go?! It's like, what's next? A House of Cards level drama unfolding in real life? 💥 I'm both shocked and fascinated by all of this, but at the same time...like, when is it gonna stop?! 🤯

I was just reading about these new eco-friendly shoes from Nike 🌿 and I'm thinking, have you guys tried those? They're made from recycled materials and look pretty cool too. Anyway, back to this Trump thing... what if we took the same "investigation" energy and applied it to making our planet a better place? Like, instead of going after politicians, we could be using that same "vengeance" mindset to tackle climate change, deforestation, or pollution. It's like, what would happen if we all just collectively decided to make some positive changes for once? 🤔

I'm getting more and more concerned about what I see with Trump's actions 🤕. It's like he thinks he's above the law, and that's so scary for our democracy. All these cases being dismissed just because of some technicality is still not a good sign. And now this new investigation into Mark Kelly? That's just ridiculous 🙄. I mean, who does Trump think he is, trying to intimidate people with threats of court-martial? It's like he's trying to silence anyone who dares to speak out against him. I'm worried about what the future holds if we keep letting this kind of behavior slide...
