TV tonight: catching a serial killer who targets happy families

TV tonight promises to deliver a thrilling array of shows that cater to diverse tastes, from crime thrillers to family drama and comedy. If you're in the mood for something spine-tingling, "The Hunting Party" is just what you need. This US crime thriller features Melissa Roxburgh as Rebecca Henderson, a former FBI profiler who must track down escaped serial killers, including Clayton Jessup, who targets happy families.

For those looking for something more light-hearted, "The Repair Shop" on BBC One offers an entertaining and feel-good show that explores the lives of people seeking repair services for their cherished items. This week's episode features a pair of motorcycle goggles, which promises to be an engaging watch.

Tonight also brings "The Celebrity Traitors," a reality TV show where celebrities compete to outwit each other in challenges. With contestants like Alan Carr and Celia Imrie, you can expect some hilarious moments.

For architecture enthusiasts, "Grand Designs" is back with another exciting episode on Channel 4. Host Kevin McCloud embarks on an ambitious project with Piers and Emma, who aim to build a futuristic home using eco-friendly materials within their Β£2.2 million budget.

If comedy is more your cup of tea, you might enjoy "BBC New Comedy Awards 2025," which highlights new talent in the industry. Meanwhile, "New Zealand's Best Homes With Phil Spencer" showcases stunning properties with breathtaking views across New Zealand.

The film section features two gripping thrillers: "Ballad of a Small Player" and "Hedda." Directed by Edward Berger, the former is an electrifying tale of love, betrayal, and power set in Macau. On the other hand, "Hedda," directed by Nia DaCosta, offers a modern adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's 134-year-old play.

Lastly, for horror fans, "Late Night With the Devil" on Film4 offers an entertaining ride into the world of found footage horror, poking fun at show business tropes along the way.

omg i'm so down for a good thriller tonight! 🀯 "The Hunting Party" looks like it's gonna be so intense with that whole FBI profiler thingy... and "Ballad of a Small Player" seems super captivating too, love how it's set in Macau πŸ’…πŸ» but also, who else is excited to see those celebrity contestants on "The Celebrity Traitors"? 🀣 Alan Carr and Celia Imrie are always good for some laughs πŸ˜‚

omg u gotta watch ballad of a small player 🀯 it's like whoa! edward berger is genius and melissa roxburgh is amazing as the lead... i think people are gonna say she stole the show tho πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ anyway, just saying, dont expect any boring night in with this lineup πŸ˜‚

omg i cant wait to watch the new shows tonight lol so excited for "the hunting party" tho idk how they do it but melissa roxburgh is like soooo good at her job 🀯 i also need some therapy watching "the repair shop" all those people fixing their grandma's old vases and stuff gives me life πŸ˜‚ and i heard alan carr is on "celebrity traitors"? idk if he'll win or not but itll be hella entertaining πŸ’ƒπŸ»

I'm excited to see the diverse lineup of shows tonight πŸ“Ί. I think it's refreshing to have a mix of genres catering to different tastes. "The Hunting Party" and "Ballad of a Small Player" seem particularly thrilling, with complex characters and gripping storylines that'll keep viewers on the edge of their seats 😬. On the other hand, shows like "The Repair Shop" and "New Zealand's Best Homes With Phil Spencer" offer a more relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a long day πŸ›‹οΈ. I'm also intrigued by the BBC New Comedy Awards 2025, which promises to highlight fresh talent in the industry 🀣. Overall, it looks like there's something for everyone tonight 😊.

I'm not sure why everyone's so hyped about this lineup... I mean, I've seen some decent shows before but nothing that screams "must-watch". What's with all these reality TV shows? Are we really supposed to be entertained by people competing against each other just for the sake of it? πŸ€”

And don't even get me started on the lack of substance in the comedy section. "BBC New Comedy Awards 2025" sounds like a snooze-fest to me. I need some actual laughs, not just "new talent" showcased in a pretentious awards show.

Can someone please provide sources for these shows? I'm all about fact-checking and finding credible info before jumping on the bandwagon. πŸ“Š

πŸ“Ί gotta say, got a good vibe from tonight's TV lineup πŸ€”. been waiting for some quality comedy, so "BBC New Comedy Awards 2025" is def one to watch πŸ˜‚. those celebs competing on "The Celebrity Traitors" are always entertaining, but I'm curious to see how they hold up in challenges βš”οΈ. and anyone who loves architecture or just wanna see some amazing homes will love "New Zealand's Best Homes With Phil Spencer". got a soft spot for docu-series like "The Repair Shop", it's so heartwarming to see people get their favorite stuff fixed 🎨. but honestly, the real excitement is around that thriller lineup... "Ballad of a Small Player" and "Hedda" have me intrigued 😏.

"Life begins at the end of your comfort zone." πŸŒŸπŸ“Ί Tonight's lineup looks like a real treat - who doesn't love a good crime thriller or some laughs on TV? I'm thinking of checking out "The Repair Shop" this week, sounds like it could be pretty entertaining.

πŸ“Ί tonight's tv lineup is shaping up to be pretty awesome i think the thing that catches my eye is the bbc new comedy awards 2025 it's always exciting to discover fresh talent in the comedy world and with alan carr and celia imrie hosting the show, you can expect some hilarious moments. also, grand designs is back on channel 4 and kevin mccloud's ambitious project sounds like something i'd love to watch if you're into architecture or just looking for a fun and inspiring documentary. but what really has me interested is late night with the devil on film4 it's always great to see found footage horror done right and poking fun at show business tropes, sounds like a wild ride πŸŽƒ

I don’t usually comment but... I'm so over these reality TV shows πŸ™„. Like, I get it, they're entertaining and all that, but can't we watch something a bit more substantial for once? I mean, I've seen Alan Carr do some crazy stuff on "The Celebrity Traitors" , but is that really what I want to be watching with my family? Give me some quality drama any day... like "The Hunting Party" πŸ•΅οΈβ€β™€οΈ. Or better yet, something a bit more thought-provoking like "Late Night With the Devil". At least that one's got some substance behind it πŸ˜’.

πŸŽ‰ The problem is that there are too many shows lined up tonight and it's gonna be a competition to decide what to watch 🀯. If you're in the mood for something serious, "The Hunting Party" looks intense, but if you want to unwind, "The Repair Shop" seems like a chill way to spend your evening 😌. I'm not really into reality TV, so I'm gonna have to skip that one πŸ‘Ž. On the other hand, architecture enthusiasts will love "Grand Designs" 🏠 and comedy fans will enjoy "New Comedy Awards 2025" 🀣. Horror fans might get a kick out of "Late Night With the Devil", but it's probably not for everyone 😳. And then there are the two thrillers... which one to choose? πŸ€”

Ugh I'm so boooored with all these shows... like who cares about serial killers and people fixing old stuff? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ Where's a good comedy show that actually makes me laugh out loud?! The New Comedy Awards 2025 better bring some real funny moments or else I'll be switching channels πŸ˜’. And what's up with all the UK shows?! Can't they see we're from across the pond too? πŸ€” I mean, I love Grand Designs and all, but can't we get some new US shows on TV for once?! πŸ“Ί

OMG, like I'm so down for a chill night in with some great TV shows πŸ“ΊπŸ˜Ž! The lineup looks awesome, from thriller to comedy and even some drama. I mean, who doesn't love a good mystery? And "The Repair Shop" sounds adorable - I need to watch that ASAP πŸ’‘. Also, the new comedy awards show is gonna be so entertaining with those celebrity contestants 🀣. On another note, have you ever seen any of those shows? I've heard great things about "Grand Designs", but I'm more of a home renovation newbie πŸ˜…. Anyway, I think there's something for everyone tonight so grab some popcorn and get cozy!

idk why they think "The Hunting Party" is gonna be a thing - just another tired FBI profiler story πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ. and what's with the random celebrities on reality TV? alan carr competing against people to outwit each other? sounds like a snooze fest 😴. at least grand designs is back, can't wait to see kevin mccloud blow up some budgets πŸ’Έ

I'm so stoked about TV tonight! πŸ“Ί I mean, who doesn't love a good crime thriller? Melissa Roxburgh as a former FBI profiler is like, totally my dream girl 😎. And "The Repair Shop" sounds like such a chill show - I need some feel-good vibes in my life right now πŸ€—. The Celebrity Traitors reality TV show has me intrigued too, especially with those celebs competing against each other πŸ€‘. And for all you architecture buffs out there, Grand Designs is back and better than ever! 🏠 Kevin McCloud's enthusiasm always gets me pumped up.

I'm also excited to see the comedy shows, like BBC New Comedy Awards 2025 - new talent is always awesome! πŸŽ‰ And for horror fans, Late Night With the Devil sounds like an absolute blast... I mean, who doesn't love a good laugh while being scared πŸ˜‚. Anyway, it's going to be a great night of TV, that's for sure!

Ugh, sounds like another night in front of the telly... πŸ“Ί They're trying to distract us from all the real news with a bunch of feel-good shows and reality TV. "The Repair Shop" is just an excuse for people to bring out their grandma's old trinkets and pretend they're interesting. And don't even get me started on "Grand Designs". Who wants to watch some rich couple build a fancy eco-home? 🏠 Not me, that's for sure.

And of course, there are two new horror movies coming out. Because what we really need is more nightmares to deal with. "Late Night With the Devil" sounds like just the thing to make you want to stay in bed all day. πŸ’€ At least it's not another Marvel movie or something. Can't wait for those.

man thats so cool they got melissa roxburgh in the hunting party lol i love her she's like my fave FBI profiler i'm def watching that tonight with my friends we'll probably have a marathon session of crime thrillers and comedies sounds like a blast 🀩 i also heard piers and emma on grand designs are super talented can't wait to see what they build next it's gonna be so interesting πŸ‘€

I think it's gonna be a sick night on TV! πŸ“ΊπŸ˜Ž Got my fave shows lined up, from spine-tingling thrillers to feel-good repair shop episodes and hilarious celebrity challenges πŸ˜‚πŸ€£ Can't wait to watch some epic builds on Grand Designs too πŸ πŸ’Ό

I was watching this old rerun of "Law & Order" back in 2010 and they had a similar show to "The Hunting Party". It wasn't as good though πŸ™…β€β™‚οΈ. I'm not sure why they're doing more reality TV shows, it's just like all those singing competitions from the early 2000s... remember when that guy won on "American Idol" and everyone was so into it? Now it's just meh πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ. Can't believe they're still making the same old comedies like "The Repair Shop"... I mean, how many times can you show a person fixing an old clock? πŸ•°οΈ

I'm so down to watch some thriller tonight 😏. I love how Melissa Roxburgh's character has to track down these serial killers, it sounds super suspenseful. And "The Repair Shop" is always great, I need something light-hearted after a long day πŸ€“. The Celebrity Traitors with Alan Carr and Celia Imrie is gonna be epic 🀣. I'm also curious about the new comedy show on BBC New Comedy Awards 2025 - got my fingers crossed for some fresh talent 😊. Film4's "Late Night With the Devil" sounds like a wild ride, I'll def check that out tonight πŸ‘».
